Penny Sang in Stake Conference!!

Holy Moly!!! Little Miss Penny was asked by our stake presidency to sing in Stake Conference! Say what!!!! Stake Conference! WOW!! She beamed with joy when they asked her and couldn't wait to sing! The confidence she has to sing is beyond me! She truly is amazing! She absolutely loves to perform and this time it was in front of 100's of people! You go girl!! 

The day before we met with the pianist to practice and Penny came down with a dang cold! She was so worried and sad that she would not be able to sing her best with out cracking and sounding nasally and  congested! We began to pray and take all the vocal coach does and don'ts to save your voice before you perform. Penny was still so worried about her voice and that she wouldn't get asked to sing again because she was going to do so terribly. She asked her daddy to give her a blessing the night before! We kept praying! We woke up praying Sunday morning because her voice was gone! OMG! Daddy made her warm lemon and  honey drinks to sip on! We kept  praying! She was still so worried. We met with the pianist again to practice 30mins before performance time. We prayed again with the pianist! She was just so worried she would not be able to sing her best with this dang cold! She tested her faith to do this!

It was time to perform! She was the opening musical number! She went up with confidence and knocked it out of the park! She sang perfectly! No cracking voice! No trying to clear her voice during the song! She sang every note perfectly! No one knew she had a cold! Wow the power of prayer! Our Heavenly Father does look over each of us and loves us so very much! He was watching over Penny and when it was time for her to sing he showed her the power of Prayer and faith in him all things can be conquered! We are beyond proud of our sweet Penny! She opened our stake conference session flooding in the Spirit with her beautiful sweet voice and spirit. She truly lifted my soul! As her mom and knowing the circumstances of her dang cold, her performance lifted me spiritually beyond words! I'm beyond proud of my sweet Penny! So courageous! She's a brave little one and nothing is going to stop her!! We can't wait to hear you perform next! You truly are a performing delight!

 

Basketball!!

Somebody started Basketball! He was hitting that 1st practice hard! He has been begging to play basketball since he was 4yrs old and finally he's old enough and the pandemic has ended and sports back open! Wahoo!!! He seriously was loved every sec of his first practice! Had to get all the fun action shots of him playing!! He's so dang cute and so fun to watch! You see that tongue?? When he's thinking and concentrating the tongue is out! lol I kept telling him "you're going to bite it off! Keep your tongue in your mouth!" lol He can't help himself! lol He seriously is pretty dang good for the first time playing too!  So proud of my boy! His 1st game is Saturday! Let's go Stars!!!

 

Swim Lessons!

Look who's Swimming!! Piper had swim lessons all week and boy is she getting good! Guess who her swim coaches were?!? Coach  Penny and Coach Bridget! They were the best! SO cute with her! They even made up a swim contract for me to  sign and a sched for the whole week! They are the best! Love these girls so much! I  even paid top dollar too! :) lol By the end of the week: Piper can swim without her floaty all by herself! She can dive for swim toys at all levels! She can float on her back all by herself! She can also do a dive into the water! OMG! The coaches were amazing!

Summer is here!!! We are loving our pool time with family!!

 

Boating Fun!

 Quick little boating fun on my 2 sister's new Boat! Eryn and Joanna just got their new amazing sparkly boat! Wow is it a beauty!! We are all absolutely in love with it!! It was a quick trip because it was so windy but we sure had a fun time! My kids were in "aw" over the new boat! The colors! The sparkles! I can't wait for them to get out there and surf and wakeboard! That will be a blast!!  Lot's of fun boating in our near future for sure! Great memories ahead!

Prom season which means makeup time!! I loved doing Kaylee's makeup for her senior prom! Then my Penny and Piper had fun doing makeup too! They are the cutest!!! Following in momma's footsteps! 

My cute little senior Bailey! We have absolutely loved having her stay with us!! Bailey's family moved to Cedar in April and Bailey wanted to finish her senior year in town so I moved her into our house! It has been so much fun for me personally and my kids!! I love being her Vegas mom! For her senior prom we followed her around to get her ready! Then I took her pics for her Senior prom! Loved every minute of it! We also went to her Seminary graduation to show our support and love to her! She had to speak and did such an amazing job! Way to go Bailey! You are amazing! We are so proud of you! Love you like my very own!

Around their birthday I do a yearly pic of them to blow up on my wall! Well with my dad passing in January I completely spaced doing Piper's yearly pic when she turned 4! So we did hers and the other 2 kids since their birthdays are right around the corner! Penny in July and Cash in August!

Happy Memorial Weekend At the Beach!

Oh how it was amazing to be back on the Beach! Life is finally getting back to normal since covid hit! We got to do our annual family beach trip  to Huntington Beach! We had the most amazing time with family and friends! Eryka's family even came down too! Yay! So much fun! We ate at all our favorite stops and completely enjoyed a fabulous relaxing weekend together!

Elementary Graduation Party!!

 Not 1 but 2 elementary graduation parties for Miss. Penny!! The pic collage is from the party Penny planned with Zoe. The other party was the night before  with more friends! Oh how Penny loves her friends! She had so much fun at both parties!! She had a blast planning her Elementary Grad Party with Zoe! Congrats Grads! You're off to Middle School! Wahoo! Such a fun day! They swam, ate pizza, made snow cones, volleyball, ring toss, picture booth, snowball fight and ate cupcakes! I would say it was an Awesome Grad Party!! Thanks Mady for opening your beautiful home for all the kids to come have so much fun! Can't believe she's off to 6th grade! Time is going by way too fast! Sure love my Penny pie!

Schools Out!

So long School......Hello Summer!!!! The kids are out! What a year! These pics are from Piper's last day of school water fun! Piper will do another year of Pre-K! This year with Mrs. McIntyre!

See ya School....I'm out! We are so happy to be done with hybrid school! Momma made it through! lol Never thought I'd be a teacher! We did it Cashy!!! Penny loved her 5th grade half days. She had half days with her teach in person and  minimal school work from home and loved it! Cash on the other hand.... he had half day in school with his teacher and then another half day at home with momma! Yikes! He was so happy when it was time to turn in his computer! No more mom work! lol!!! We had good days and rough days together but by the  time the school year ended we had our home teaching down to a good system! We did it!! We survived the craziest school year yet!!!

Penny and Cash matched their cousins as they went off to school on their last day! and you already know who made their shirts! Daddy/Uncle Chad! :)  It's tradition to go get ice cream or a treat with their cousins to celebrate the last day of school! Hellooooo Summer! So much Fun! The pic with all the kids in is so funny! It was just a little bright! lol! Can't wait to see what next school year brings! Cash will go into 2nd grade and Penny off to 6th grade! OMG Middle School! Your future is bright! So proud of my 3 favorite humans! 

 

Piano and Voice Recital!

 

Wahoo! They did it! Their 1st Spring Piano/ Voice Recital! These 2 have been working real hard on their piano songs! Penny played 2 songs and Cash played for the 1st time 1 song! Can't' believe my boy actually got up and did it! He was so nervous! Penny on the other hand is used to be on stage and performing in front of big groups! lol! She loves it! So proud of my Cashy boy! He was so brave! He introduced himself and the song he was  playing  and began to play his song "Jingle Bells!" Yes you read that right! He played "Jingle Bells" in the spring recital! lol He's a silly one! He did great!! Penny did wonderful too playing both her songs! A church one and a regular one!! Her dream is to play the piano and sing at church! She also closed the recital singing a solo! She sang "How far I'll go" from Moana! Penny killed it up there! She is truly a shining singing star! Dang that girl can sing! Wow! Makes my momma heart so happy!!! She also takes voice lessons from Mrs. Andrea too! We absolutely love Mrs. Andrea! She is such a wonderful teacher to both my kids! So proud of both my Penny and Cash! They both did such a wonderful job tonight performing! My honz said it best: Moments like these are the small rewards I need in life to know just how blessed we really are.

Piper's Pre-Pre-K Graduation!

The last few weeks have been all about our little Piper Rae! She is such a delight! Cutest and funniest little personality! She just had her Pre-Pre-K graduation from Mrs Megan's Class! She has absolutely loved Mrs. Megan and all her cute friends she has made this year! She still has 1 more year until kindergarten so this is her Pre-Pre-K graduation! What a great year of learning for her! She can right her name! Knows her letters and sounds! Can count to 20 all by herself! She's a smart little cookie! She will be reading in no time at all! Can't believe how big she is getting! Where did my baby go!?!

She loves to perform! Mrs. Megan put together a little graduation program with singing and dancing and even awards! So much fun! She loved singing and dancing up there! As you can see in her silly faces in these pics she was loving it! 

Piper we love you so much! Keep growing and learning! You are going to do great things in life! She's off to Mrs. McIntyre's class! 

 

Another Little Performer in the fam!

Piper performed in her 1st Singer's Company performance! Oh man do we have another little perform in the family! She loved being on stage! No stage fright at all! She is following in her big sissy's footsteps! :) She was so brave doing her 1st Solo and 1st speaking part! She was one of the opening speaking parts  too! She did amazing! So proud of my baby! Can't believe how much she looks like Penny all  dolled up with her lipstick on, hair all done and in  her cute little costume! Love! Love! Love! The other fun part is watching my older kids watch her perform! They were so proud of her up there! They were cheering her  on from the crowd! So dang cute!

Miss Kate and Lucy did an amazing job teaching these cute girls every week! After her performance we ate at Eddies to celebrate how wonderful Piper performed! Such a great night! Dinner  and the best show! We love you Piper! You did great!

 

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's day to all the amazing mommas out there! Being a mom is challenging but I wouldn't change being a momma to these 3 any day! Love them so much! They bring me so much joy! Most days they make my heart burst! They sure know how to spoil me and show me so much love! So many gifts, notes, art work, breakfast, lunch and dinner, treats and flowers. I was definitely spoiled on Mother's Day!!  These 3 beauties of mine are my greatest blessing! I'm so lucky my Heavenly Father choose me to be their momma!

Gymnastics!

Something new for this little one! Piper started gymnastics and absolutely loved it! She is my most flexible child! Without any training she can do the most perfect splits, handstand and backbend! Yep it is  time for training! She loves her gymnastics class so much and is doing great! These pics are from her 1st class! Keep it up sis! You're doing great!

 

Family Hike & Swim!

We have had a lot of Birthday's in our family! Mine 25th, then Eryka's 27th, then her son Niels 29th, then Ryan's son Mav 2nd all within a week! So we all needed to get together to celebrate!! So we headed to St George for the day! We started our Saturday together hiking! It's torti season and man did we see so many Tortoises on our hike! It was so much fun! The scenery was gorgeous! The weather was perfect! The tortoises were so cool!

The kids loved spotting the Tortoises! It was like hide and go seek for Turtles! lol! We saw 7 total! All different sizes from big to baby! We Loved it so much!

After hiking we went to my Uncle Jim's house and swam! We played all day there from swimming to biking to scootering to skateboarding! The kids had a blast! We sat out all day just enjoying the beautiful weather and watching the kids play! Ryan even made his amazing dutch oven dinner and cobbler for all of us!! So yummy just like daddy's was! He's carrying the dutch oven tradition on! Such a wonderful day together! I love my family and birthday's too!

Cash got a new friend at school!! His bff Cole finally after 2 years of being on Somerset Sky Pointe's waitlist he finally got in!! YAY!! We have been waiting for this day for way too long! Come to find out Cole not only got put in Cash's class he also got put at Cash's table in class! OMG!! Cash was over the moon excited!! He loves his little bff!! So with Cole starting at out school... We picked up car pool with them! So Cash has been loving riding to and from school with his bff!! Love these 2 bros! 

Quick fun day trip to Cedar City, UT! Some fun action shot of my nephew Chance playing in his Lacrosse game up in Cedar! He even  scored!! Let's GOOOOOOOOO! Love my #1! Proud Auntie for sure! After the game we all went to lunch then we headed on our way back home! 

More golf fun!! Cash has been loving it and Penny wanted to start to play too! So we got them both new Clubs from the Harvey's! They are the best!! and I signed Penny up for her private lessons!!! Last collage for the month! We are getting Baptism ready!!! New fitted CTR ring! His very own hymn book engraved with his name! and getting all suited up in his New electric blue suit!! Love this boy so much! Love his excitement to get Baptized too!! He makes my heart real Happy! Next getting his scriptures with engraving and bag! :)
