Aloha!!! It was an epic Hawaiian Spring Break for us!!! After going through and collaging over 1,000 pics here is our Hawaiian Adventure!! lol Hold on tight it was an amazing spring break! We surprised our kids at Christmas time with a spring break trip to Hawaii! Oahu Northshore at Turtle Bay to be exact! :)
Here is day 1! Saturday! Catching our flight and getting out of here!!!
Jet set and Hawaiian bound!!!We were headed to the big island...Oahu! Airplane pics! Long flight! I was into my movie and took a slight pause and looked over at my Penny and she had put on face mask and reading a book! lol I was actually shocked seeing her in a face mask! It cracked me up! But hey when you have a 6hr flight you come prepared with all the things! Even a face mask! lol Love her so much!
We were off to an incredible adventure! We flew into tropical storms and had to stay in air and extra hour waiting to land! So much rain! Then landed and had to stay on the tar mat an additional 45min for them to get a spot to open up so we could get off! but we made it and we were so excited to be in beautiful Hawaii! Let the Spring Break adventure begin!!!
First stop food!! Zippys! Traditional Hawaiian food! It was good!! Then of course Costco so we could stock up our condo for the week! Then had to start our vaca off with Snow Cones!!! Delicious!
Drove over to the North Shore! We stayed at Turtle Bay in a condo! We made it to the condo!! Arrive to No Power! The storms and rain so bad it took out the power on the North Shore!!! Wow!! It just added to our spring break adventures! lol So flash lights it was and got all settled in! We had an amazing beautiful condo! It fit our families perfectly! We stayed with our bff Facer's! Our families travel perfect together! Love creating memories with them!
Day 2! Sunday! Power is on and we are ready to play! First stop Church!! It was so fun to go to church in another state! We walked in and saw our stake President sitting there! That was a fun surprise to see them at church all the way in Hawaii! It was a great Sabbath morning!
We grabbed lunch at the food trucks! Holy Moly food trucks! So many options and everything we ordered was delicious! Yum!
Then off to the Swap Meet!! Downtown here we come! We had a hay day! I love the swap meet! So many good finds! The jewelry and sea shells on point! Penny and I got matching fitted toe nails!
Next stop the biggest mall I've ever seen! lol Shopping is my favorite past time! lol We found the Bayardo's there and had a blast!
Day 3 Monday! Honz got up early and Golfed at the Turtle Bay golf course! He had an amazing round of golf! Great company and beautiful views! We played at the condo until the boys were done!
Quick stop for breakfast at Tedd's Bakery! So good! Then we were headed to the Beach! Waimea Beach! Gorgeous! Our first beach day! Yayyyy!
The perfect day to play at the beach! Incredible scenery!
The kids had a blast!!!! Catching waves! Finding shells! and even caught a Frog! lol The was wild!
When your a beautiful teen you must have a digital photo shoot while at a Hawaiian beach! lol Oh how I love my beautiful teenager! Penny is the best!
We spent the day will all 8 families that came to Hawaii! So many teens! So many friends! So much fun! We had to snap some group pics! Love it!
Getting hungry! lol We all went to Haleiwa! All 8 families and ate dinner! Then we shopped around the fun cute little shops! Then topped it with Snow Cones!!! This place was so yummy!!!!! Snow Cones for days! To finish the evening we swam and hot tubbed at the Ritz at Turtle Bay! Amazing Resort and beautiful pools that looked out to the ocean! Swimming with Ocean view! Yes please!
Day 4! Tuesday! Whale watching and swimming with the Sharks day! Yayyyy! First stop... Tedd's bakery for breakfast! Yum! Love starting our day with yummy food! lol Saw my high school bestie in the line at Tedd's! Sloany!!!!! Such a fun surprise! I love this lady so much!! Cray to run into her in Hawaii!!! Made my day!!! Then we were off to the Ocean Outfitters Adventure!
Stormy Seas! :) A gloomy day but that didn't stop us from having fun! Misty rain on and off while on the boat but we were set out to sea!!! Love riding in the ocean! It's like never ending roller coaster! My favorite!
Shark Sighting and out my husband and my kids jumped with out a blink! I was like what in the world! You'll are crazy! It was even cage less!! Swimming with the Sharks! Omg!!! What an experience! The kids were so excited and hyped! Honz and Cash were out in the ocean first! Honz took one look in the ocean and was like ..Wow those are really big and really close! lol Cash was so into it! He had bought a water proof pouch for his phone just for this shark diving experience! and man did he catch the coolest videos of the sharks swimming on by! It was wild! His videos were amazing! Love it!
Next sighting!! Whales! This was the most incredible experience of my life! So many whale sightings! We locked in on this baby and mommy just playing at the surface! They got so close to us! This pics are not even zoomed in! It was amazing! We watching them play right besides us for an hour or more! We could hear the slapping of their tales and fines on the water! We could also hear their blow hole! Incredible!! Crazy! Wild experience!
We absolutely loved Ocean Outfitters! 10 out of 10 experience! Even if we hadn't seen any whales or sharks we still would have loved it because our Tour Guide Barbie's! lol Lilly and Allie had the best personalities! We bonded and instantly became Island sisters! lol Love my girls! They made the experience amazing!!! If I'm ever back to Ohau I'm gonna find my girls! Back over to Haleiwa for lunch! Walked a few shops and found the best Italian ice cream!
Then over to the BYU Campus! Walked around and the kids tossed the football! It was really cool to be on campus! Then over to the PCC- Polynesian Cultural Center! More amazing food trucks and shops! We had dinner here and just enjoyed the scenery! Such an amazing day!
Day 5! Wednesday! Pearl Harbor! Honz really wanted to go tour it and take the kids! It was quite the amazing experience! The exhibits were very informational and awesome!
If you know Honz he loves food and loves to find hidden gems of food places! So he was on the hunt for amazing food and man did he find it! 10 out of 10! Adele's Country Eatery! It was plant based food! Everything we ate was absolutely delicious! and huge portions too! Oh and a quick little photo shoot on the digi for Penny! lol
After Pearl Harbor we made a quick little stop to see all our friends at the beach! This was our 2nd beach day because the weather has been so rainy! lol The sun was out and the ocean was getting back to its tropical turquoise self! All the rain was making the ocean so brown! Piper hunted for more shells! Penny chatted with the girsl! and cash was out in the ocean! lol He was the only one to get out there! We were only there for like and hour too! lol
The beach was cut short because we were off to Climb Works to Zip Line!!! Yayyyy! This was originally sched for Friday but with another storm on it's way we moved it up a couple days! Don't' you worry it stilled sprinkled and misted on us while we were s=zip lining! lol

Day 6 Thursday! We were up and off for another adventure! This time to the Kualoa Ranch! It was pouring down rain! We ran to the car and then ran into the ranch to get checked in! We were soaked! lol
We all wore our matching Hawaii shirts Honz made! Yayyyyy! Thanks Honz! They were so cute and perfect for our trip!!! Everybody loved them! The first part was getting on a bus that took us down to their a private dock to get on a catamaran!
The catamaran took us out to sight see turtles and China Man's Hat Island! Our tour guide was so great at story telling! Lot's of fun facts about Hawaii and how it all started! I loved just being on the boat and feeling the waves! lol
The tour came woth lunch! So we ate lunch which was so yummy! Then next up was the movie tour portion! We got into like a bus jeep thing and had a blast! Our tour guide was so fun! He was a hoot!
So many fun facts! So many movies were filmed out of the property! We were in absolute awe over the views! The waterfalls coming from the mountains! Incredible! My eyes didn't know what they were looking at! lol Such beauty!
The kids were having the best time too! Such a fun movie adventure!!!
Finished up the tour and stopped by the Temple!!! It was so magical!! We also stopped in the visitors center and walked around and watched a quick little church video! It was so fun! Then back to our condo! It was still a down pour so the kids went out on the golf course and skimmed the big puddles with their boogoe boards! hahaha! Cash was out there with the boys for like 3 hours doing this! Having the best time! We grabbed dinner at the food trucks and ate at friends condo that was by ours! We all played a the name game! That was so much fun too! Love these new families that came to Hawaii with us! It was so fun spending time with them and getting to know them! My kids had a blast hanging with all the extra kids too! So fun!

Day 7! Friday! Emergency Evacuation alerts! Woke up to our phones going off with the emergency alert! It had rained all night and woke up to it still just a coming down! The flooding had set in on the Northshore with only one road to get out! Yikes! The power had gone out again! So we decided to hit up a beach real quick! lol The rain stopped for about 45mins so we ran out to the beach and let the kids play! Cash and Klay were the only 2 that got into the ocean! lol We sat and enjoyed the beauty until it down poured again and had to go! lol We were getting soaked!
Piper hunted shells! Cash hit the waves! and Penny, Honz and I sat under the umbrella not to block any sun! lol but to block the rain! lol The umbrella so big it covered over 3 of us! lol
Evacuation time! We stopped at the Food Mart to grab a few more snacks! Ate lunch at Taco Bell and went back to the condo to pack up! Once we got the news of the road opening back up we jumped in the car and got out! It was so sad to leave the Northshore! We still had 3 days left of our vacation! Dang mother nature! lol
Well we aren't letting the rain ruin our trip! Honz got a hotel room for our last 2 nights at the Courtyard Marriot in Waikiki! Downtown fun! Walking distance for everything which was nice but it was still raining! lol We ate at a Mexican Restaurant for dinner all together! Then we went to the movies! Honz, Penny and Cash and most the teens and husbands went to Hail Mary movie! They loved it!! Myself, Piper and the wives went and saw Reminders of Him! That was so good too!
Day 8! Saturday! Honz found us an amazing place to eat breakfast! Waffles and Berries! Huge portions and delicious food! So yummy! Walking distance from our hotel too! after breakfast we went shopping again!! Yayyy! I loved the BIG Aloha sign that the kids sat in the letters! So cute!
Shopped for a bit and then had food in the mall food court! There was a canes and a chick fil a so the kids were happy! lol Then we took off to sight see the other part of the island! It's Honz and I favorite to just drive around and take in all the beauty!
Our last night on the island! Ugh why does it have to go by so fast! We have had such an incredible time making amazing memories! We ate at PF Chang's for dinner! Then walked another mall! We were trying to see a Polynesian program but they canceled it because of the non stop rain! Ugh! So after dinner we had one last Hawaiian Snow Cone! Yum! Love these faces! We had the most memorable time ever!

Day 9! Sunday! We were up early and off to the airport! But first we stopped and the most delicious fluffy donuts I've ever had! Donut King for the Win! Arrived at the airport and ready for take off!
Bye Hawaii!!! Oh how we will miss our epic spring break! Played cards waiting to board! That was the best! I even played with my new souvenir cards! Cash got to talk to the Pilots and even got to talk on the intercom to all the guests on the plane! He got to Welcome us aboard! Love it! He was on a high!!! Another creepy face mask for Penny! lol and Piper got to see where the Pilot sits and I snagged a cute pic! The flight was good and we were back home!! Thanks Honz for making it all happen! We had an absolute Epic Spring Break in Oahu! Loved all the 8 families that joined us on our adventure! Absolutely loved creating memories with our bff Facer's! We had the time of our life! Until next time!! Can't wait to make more incredible memories together! Love my family so much! Aloha and Mahola! :)
