Congrats Penny! Watch out world here she comes!!!We got our first driver on the road! It's been such a busy wk with the sweet 16 surprises! Birthday celebrations! and now Penny's drivers test! Let's just say the DMV is all such a nerve racking experience starting with the permit process! Then booking the license and having all the documents! To taking the test!!! I had been taking Penny on practice driving tests all week driving around the DMV! lol We had some great bonding time! She was solid and ready to take the test! We arrived so early to get checked! Did not want her to feel rushed! The whole DMV process is such a bundle of nerves as it is no need for rushing around! They called her name to go out! They weren't even outside for 5 mins and the instructor and Penny were walking back in! Honz and I were freaking out! Penny finds us and immediately starts crying! The instructor wouldn't let her take her test because she said the windshield was tinted! Chad and I were like no way! We went up to the check in desk to ask to speak to the instructor! Well she wouldn't even come over and talk to us so Chad asked for the supervisor! We needed to know what was going on and be able to fix it so Penny could take her test in the future! We were just devastated for Penny! It wasn't her fault the car supposedly had windshield tint! We met with the supervisor and she was the nicest! She walked out to our car and checked the windshield! Come to find out the windshield didn't have tint! The first instructor didn't even check closely she automatically assumed! Ughhhh! The supervisor was so apologetic and told Penny she could still take her test today if she felt up to it! Penny still worked up and crying said she definitely wanted to go through with taking the test! The supervisor was so nice and assigned a different instructor. After giving her some time to compose herself and get her mindset back on taking the test the new instructor came out to greet her! A much nicer instructor right off the bat! Thank goodness! She was out taking her test for about 20mns! I watched her from the live 360 app the whole test! lol
The test was a success! She came back in and the instructor and he informed us she passed! Wahoo! So freaking happy for her! Paper work completed! Signature signed! Photo done! License complete! Yayyyyy! Can't believe the morning we had at the DMV! The high walking in to the low with the window tint then high again with taking the test and passing! Wow!! It ended up being the Best day ever! Congrats Penny! You are licensed!
Watch out world here she comes!! She fearless and ready to take it on! As soon as we got home she ran inside and asked Cash where do you want me to take you right now! lol He said Mcdonald's for an ice cream cone! lol and just like that they were off together! Actually can't believe it! It really is wild to see you baby just drive off! lol No one prepares you for these moments in life that's for sure! but I'm extremely happy for her! So proud of her hard work and dedication! She is a mover and shaker! Nothing holding her back! Way to go Penny! You did it!!!
ps. we are waiting for the title from the seller so we can register her new car that is why she is driving my car! She wants to be in her baby coop so bad! lol but in the mean time she will keep driving my car! lol
