It's always an extra fun wk when it's dress up wk! Monday- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Day! us aides literally have too much fun! lol We had such a fun day being the turtles! The kids loved it too! IT was also so fun seeing all the student turtles around the school!
Tuesday- Camo day! It was also our friends Haley's bday and she loves Taco Bell so we surprised her with a Taco Bell Birthday! lol and we incorporated our camo in with our Hot Sauce packet shirts! lol She was sos surprised and loved it! It was so fun to be a Taco Sauce packet! lol FIRE! I'm extra spicy! Cash and Piper loved dressing in their camo! Camo is such an awesome pattern and so fun to dress in it!
Wed- Twin Day and 1/2 day! Twinning is lawsys winning! and having a 1/2 day makes it even a funner and the best day ever! We picked up Penny and then met up with Bestie Shayla for lunch! Such a fun day!
Thursday- Swap day- students dress as teachers and teachers dress as students! Now this was fun! Loved seeing all the Mrs. Emylee dressed ups and roaming the halls! lol Of course my little Piper couldn't wait to be her mama! We nailed her outfit! and the Glasses and earrings! Cash wanted to go as Mr. Gaastra! Mr. Gaastra loved it! He even let Cash were his iconic hat! Cash was loving his day! It was so fun to see all the teachers become the students too! It was such an awesome fun day!
Friday- Apex Fun Run! The anticipated race! These kids love this fun run every year! Piper ran her little heart out! She ran 44 laps! Wahoo! Way to go Pipes! She even got to get popsicles after her race! She loved that!
Cash's turn and man was he ready for his race! This was his last Apex fun run since he is 5th grade! Can't believe it! He crushed it! He ran 58 laps! Then after school as tradition I take them to pick out their fun run prize at Target! They definitely earned! It was extra hot out there even with a heat warning! Another Apex fun run in the books! We had a great wk! We love our Somerset Sky Pointe School!
