The Unforgettable Christmas Express!

You all know the fun does not stop over here! We pack all the things in! All the Christmas traditions! lol To finish off December Wk 2 we headed out to Alamo for the Western Elite Christmas Express! This is our most favorite Christmas tradition we do as a big family and close friends that are basically family! There's nothing better than this Christmas Experience! 

Western Elite's generosity is unmatched!!! Their Christmas Express is unforgettable!! We always have an absolute best time!! There's nothing better then being with your family making amazing memories together!

At every turn there's something new! Beautiful lights all around! Fire pits to hang by! Food to eat! Hot Cocoa to drink! Train rides and hay rides! Light up dancing in the circle! and lot's of picture taking for me! lol

So many fun photo opts every which way! 

We are just walking our way through the line to the big train and taking a ton of pics along the way! lol

We made it! It was so much fun to see Taeya! We always make sure we are on her train! lol She is the best conductor! They have added 3 new scenes too! So it was so much fun to watch out the windows! Headed all the way to the North Pole and picked up Santa!! Wahoo! We sang Christmas songs and my girls got to sing on the mic! They loved it! The most incredible experience! 

After the big train we all jumped on the Hay ride! We looped around and had a blast!

We had the most incredible time as always! Another year in the books! Thank you so much Western Elite for the most amazing Christmas Express! We are still in "awe" over you generosity! The night was incredible and unforgettable! Loved having our big group be able to come out and enjoy the fun! It was the best night to be with family and very good friends! Merry Christmas everyone!

 

NFR!!!!

Along with what we did in my last post- December wk 2! We also did this!!! Friday night Fun at the Rodeo!!! NFR!! Honz got 4 tickets last min and we  were so hyped to go! Penny had already had plans to hang with a couple of her friends so we took Cash and Piper!!! This was Piper's first time to the big time Rodeo! She loved it!! We all had a blast! We got all gussied up in our best western wear and headed down to the Thomas and Mac Center! We had great seats too! The Fun and excitement was popping! The kids loved it!  

The rodeo is so much fun!!! Action packed fun!! We missed our Penny girl being with us but she had her own fun! It was so fun to be with Piper and Cash! Oh what a night! Love making the best memories always! 

 

December Wk 2 Fun!

It's always non stop moving and shaking over here! Here's is wk 2 of December! I made time for a girls night! Yesss! I kicked off the wk with Christmas with the Kranks! Hosted by Miss Pinterest herself...Andrea! Omg did we have a blast! We all wore Christmas turtle necks and vests! Brought our most creative charcuterie board! Mine was a gummie candy board! Did a favorite things gift exchange! and played LRC! We chatted, ate, laughed, screamed out, cried laughing so hard, ate some more, had a awkward photoshoot, and had the freakn time of our lives! Thanks Andrea for being the hostess with the mostest! We even had a couple of party crashers! lol Cash and Janie had rugby be together then Cash came back to her house where I was to hung out! It was an amazing night for all!

We've had map testing all wk! Piper scored over her goal for both math and reading map! Wahoo! So proud of her! Cash did so good too! So proud of my hard working kids! We took teacher gits around all wk and loved passing them out! Love my co workers! They are the best! Love my kids teachers so much too! Cash got to go to the stem class to see their project they have been working on! Cash had a blast! 

Cash had a busy fun week! His 3 little pigs opinion writing came to an end! Are the pigs innocent or guilty in the murder of the Big Bad Wolf! They had a debate and a court date to plead their case! lol Cash had an absolute blast! Such a fun experience for him and all the students! I even got to be on the jury too! That was fun! He also joined Mr.  Gaastra's Rugby clinic this past wk too! He loved learning and playing Rugby! He was chosen as the team captain too! Way a go Cashy!! Mr. Gaastra also started their next unit in reading Don Quixote! Its a mid evil story! He tied in  Trators the game that's on peacock! The kids have been loving this! Mr. Gaastra really knows how to add in all the fun while still learning! Cash has absolutely loved his 5th grade year!! We are so sad to have Mr.  Gaastra leave. He is moving and we are all devastated but we are excited for his new adventure! Mr. Gaastra has gone above and beyond in teaching these kids! I  have also  loved working along side him too! He will  be greatly missed! He has made such an impact on my Cashy! We are coming into his last wk as Cash's teacher! It's gong to be a sad day for sure saying goodbye!

Penny's pick up selfies! and more school fun! We also had the best visitors! Bailey and Luke came for an over nighter and we had a blast catching up! We are all so obsessed with these two!! 

Our ward Christmas party!!! Such a fun night! Cash and Piper were in the play! It was Christmas around the world! Cash was picked to be Santa! Man did he take this job seriously! He was the best Santa!! He memorized his parts too! He loved being Santa! It was so much fun!

Piper was a star in the play! She loved being in the play too! To  end the play the older Youth presented the nativity in shadow box form! It was so beautiful! I was touched and could not stop tearing up! So amazing!  

Even the real Santa came right at the end! Cash was still dressed up as Santa and both Santa's loved seeing each other! lol It was super cute! Such an amazing night! Love my ward family!

Friday at school was Ugly Christmas Sweater day!! So here we all! All decked out! lol We even did some awkward photos! lol So freakn funny! Love my work friends! We have the best time!

Sunday Funday!! Cash had his interview for his priesthood advancement! He also go to go to a presentation of moving up into priesthood! He loved it! Can't believe he's old enough for this next chapter in his life! He said he's so excited to go to the temple and pass the sacrament!! We are so excited for him too! So proud of the faithful boy he is becoming! He's such a leader in all things he does! Love my Cashy Boy! 

 

Performing Piper!

All dolled up and ready to perform! Well along with how busy our last wk was (Dec wk 1) Piper also had 2 performances with her Singer's Company group! But this deserved it's own post! lol I can't believe how Big my baby Piper is getting!! She absolutely loves to sing and dance and perform just like her Big Sis! She had been practicing a ton and was ready!!! It was time for little Piper to shine and that's just what she did! Love her so much!

Here is night one's performance at the Retirement Facility! All the little Grandma's and Grandpa's loved it! Piper had memorized both her singing and speaking parts and did them perfectly! Love her and so proud! She dances and sang her little heart out! 

After performance pics with her besties! Actually Cash's besties! lol Janie and Elsie joined singers company this year and Piper loved being with them every week at practice! Cash had a blast watching them perform! They all did great!! After performing we celebrated at Yogurtland!! Wahoo! We had a blast!

Day 2!! 2nd performance for friends and family!!Grandma came! Piper was super excited about that! Loved having my besties come out to support and watch Piper too! Made my whole day! Love my besties!

The fun continued! You all know me! lol The party never ends! We took the kids to see Moana 2 after Piper's last performance to celebrate! We haven't been to a theater movie since summer time! That's a long time! We even brought Cash's besties Janie and Elsie to celebrate their performances as well! The movie was great! We all loved it! 

After the movie Honz took the 2 teens to get snow cones and Pizza! Awesome!!! I took the littles back to Elsie's house to see her new mini cows! Omg look how precious they are! Piper and Cash even got to bottle feed them!! So adorable! What a special treat! My kids are all obsessed with cows and horses! They were in pure Heaven over at Elsie' house! She's got all the farm animals! Love it! Thanks for letting them come over and play! Such an awesome, amazing day!!!

 

December Wk 1!

We are in full swing in this Christmas season! Here's the 1st wk  of December in  the books! lol Running kids around as soon as the school rings is pretty much our after school life! lol We have also had some time to spread Christmas cheer! We delivered bestie neighbor gifts! Penny and Sadie shopped for our Elder Chance! We created a 12 days of Christmas Stocking! We can't wait for him to get it! 

School Fun and car selfies! Cash made the wall of fame for his 100% writing piece in Mr.  Gaastra's class! 1st off its hard to get 100% on writing in Gaastra's class and 2nd it's a huge accomplishment to make the wall of fame!!! So proud of my Cashy! He loves Mr. Gaastra and has absolutely loved writing this year! He's getting to be a pretty dang good writer! Piper and her cheer bestie off to Gymnastics! THey love their tumbling class together!

Now this was a fun adventure for Honz! He got invited to take a private charger plane to the UNLV in Boise! He couldn't pass up the exciting opportunity! Although UNLV lost and my Honz froze his butt off! Honz reports he had a freakn blast! Such a fun quick adventure with the guys!

 

Ruby pics!!!! and Basketball is back in full swing! Cash is in the gym 4 days a week practicing! 2 times with the team! Oh he made the Varsity team at the school! I'm not sure I mentioned that in my blog yet! lol  Congrats son! and 2 times with a private coach! Cash loves his one on one practices with his private coach! He has learned so much already! He works hard and plays hard! Excited to see his growth and what the comp basketball team will do this year! Let's goooooo!

Oh my beautiful  Penny! She wanted to perform in Sacrament in Dec,! and that's just what she did! This past Sunday Penny had the amazing opportunity to share her beautiful voice! Man or man as soon as she opens her mouth you can instantly feel the spirit! She is so captivating! Her confidence and stage presence is unreal! She just continues to amaze me every time she performs! Penny sang He is the Gift accompanied by Christie Gifford, her vocal coach! It was absolutely beautiful! So proud of my girl!

 

Sunday Funday for sure! Thanks to all that came out to support her! She get's so embarrassed and mad at me when I invite friends and family out to come here her sing but she is worth it! She has no clue the impact her voice has on people! That's why I like to invite the friends and family out! lol She is an incredible performer and daughter of God!

Well Penny wasn't the only one to perform on  Sunday! I was asked to put together the Stake Primary Choir a few weeks ago to perform at the Night of Choirs! So I held a few practices and gathered the stake children! We have had a fun few wks practicing that's for sure! Sunday was our big performance! They nailed it! Blew it out of the park! So proud of each of them! I loved having both my littles also in my choir singing their littles hearts out with me too! It was a beautiful night a singing! We enjoyed every bit of it as a family! Can't wait for next years! There's nothing better then beautiful Christmas music to get you into the Christmas season! Christ is the reason for this and every Christmas Season! 

The Incredible Enchant Christmas!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! lol Yes sir!! As soon as we hit Vegas coming off our Thanksgiving weekend we had 1 hr to regroup, bundle up and we were off to Enchant Christmas at the Ball Park! I had booked this back in Sept with my bestie Shayla! We love doing this tradition together the first weekend right after Thanksgiving!! This is one of my most favorite Christmas traditions!! 1st stop SANTA!! He does exist! This Santa is hands down the very best Santa ever! Took so much time with us! Never felt rushed! Santa even played with Piper and switched hats when I was taking their photo together! So magical! We sure love Santa!!

The Christmas lights never get old! We love being with our bestie family!

We were on a hunt to find the lost animals with bells! Oh what a beautiful maze of twinkling lights! Penny got so exctied when she spotted a "Big P" sign! She said that's me! lol Of course we had to take pics and then you can see the little P - Piper had to follow right along and get a pic as well by the "Big P" sign too! She said I'm a P! lol Piper always following and doing what Penny does! Good thing Penny is a good girl! lol She's got little sis looking right up to her! :)

We had so much incredible time once again with our bestie family! We love making memories with Team Hilsabeck! These are my people! Love them very much! To finish the night we went to Yogurt land! Delicious! The best time kicking off this Christmas season! Can't wait for all the Christmas festivities to come through our the month! It's going to be a busy season that's for sure and I'm here for it! lol :)

                                       

The Happiest Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!! We had such an enjoyable time up in Santa Clara for Thanksgiving! Nothing but laughter, chatter, and full bellies! I'm so grateful for my family! The love they show to me and my little family is unmatched! It's been a tradition to do Thanksgiving with Uncle Jim and Aunt Debbie since I was a little girl and have continued to do this long past my mom passing and recently my father passing! Thank you for always extending the invite to us! My heart it full!

The best cousin time ever! These kids played non stop and truly have the best time! So much to be thankful for! 

Piper wanted to bring crafts to do with her cousins because she said they always have so many fun crafts to do and I want to bring more! Love her! She sure had fun doing those crafts with cousins! In fact all the girls did! The boys had fun doing boy things! lol Outside and wild!

We shopped the lame Black Friday ads! lol To prepare for our Black Friday shopping extravaganza! lol We wanted the old school feel of touching the ads but dang there was nothing good in the paper! We were very sad! All the ads were online! lol We headed up to Cedar to stay in Gramps (Chad's dad) new home! It is absolutely beautiful! 

Black Friday Extravaganza!! Yes I love this day so much! It is my most favorite shopping day of the year! lol and I love to shop in the stores! Old school! lol I talked my fave cousins into meeting me there! Man oh man did we have a hay day! lol A freakn blast together! We hit up all the stores and found all the deals! It was an epic morning of deal finding and laughter!

Went back up to Cedar to get the rest of my little family and then headed back down to Santa Clara to go shooting with the cousins! Before we met up with them we stopped by to get the most delicious caramel apples from my sister! My sister Eryka is the creator of these incredible caramel apples and she was selling them at an event! We surprised her and bought 12 of them! lol I can't resist them and I love trying all her new flavors! Caramel Apple Delight and Friends! If you haven't tried these they are a must!! 

Now it was time to shoot! lol Loved meeting up with my cousins! This time it was shooting! We had a blast! We all joined in the fun! 

Cashy has a good eye and aim! I did good too! Penny enjoyed pulling the clay pigeons to launch in the sky! Honz of course never misses! Piper played with the little cousins climbing or sat and watched us! Such a fun day! We loved getting the invite! We all had a blast!

We even had a little photoshoot! lol I seriously love these cousins of mine so much! They bring my heart so much joy! I think what made this Thanksgiving the best and so memorable was the extra time we spent together! All day Thanksgiving instead of rushing back to Vegas! The epic black Friday shopping together the next morning and the shooting guns adventure! The best couple of days ever! Love my family so much!

Then back up to Cedar for this cuties Baptism! We are so proud of Piper's bestie cousin McKayla for choosing to be baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! Such a wonderful baptism! McKayla is such a sweetheart! It was such a beautiful morning together! Piper was so excited for her to get baptized and she kept saying "I'm next!" That's right Piper you are next! Your baptism is coming! Yay! 

Bottom corner pic is my Honz holding a huge box of poinsettias! My Honz not realizing the date came back to Gramp's home to surprise me with the poinsettias. As soon as I saw them I began to tear up! Poinsettias were my mom's favorite holiday flower and on this day marked 27years my mom has passed! Can't believe he was led to those without even knowing how special they are to me! Every time I see a poinsettia I think of my mom! Wow time flies! Can't believe it's been 27 years! I still miss her like crazy! That never goes away! Love my mom so much! Love my Honz so much too! He just knows without knowing! He is my person!!
