Gone Fishing!

We had a blast fishing in Otter Creek! It's been while since we have gone fishing and man did we have so much fun when we were there! We took our trailer and camped with my family! The kids had an absolute blast! Non stop riding bikes, lounging under giant trees, playing cards, and of course fishing!!!

Beautiful weather! We love when the rain storms come through too! There was a great little burst of rain on Saturday! So beautiful and it gets the fish really biting!

Such a wonderful weekend camping with our family! We love going into the small  town and eating! They have the best food and homemade pies! Yum!

Fishing action shots! This was fun! This was the first time in a long time that I jumped on the boat and fished! I think I was the lucky charm! We were reeling in some big fish left and right! We trolled and had a blast! Such a rush! lol The fish were loving Chad's rainbow lure! I reeled in a 5 pounder! Yes you read that right! A big momma! It was the biggest fish that was caught all weekend long! Yay!

1st Day of Virtual School!

School is back in session! Very strange this year because they are home with distant virtual learning! Oh my! Dang covid once again causing to many problems. lol Ugh! They were both so excited to start school! I think they actually like to be home learning now that we have gotten into the groove of things!! Not sure how this momma feels about it yet!

 My Lucky Penny! 

Penny started 5th grade! Ruling the school! :) She already loves her teacher Mrs. Frehner so much!! She also has Mr. V and really likes him too!. School is very strange but this little one is smart and has already picked up on how to be tech savvy and get her way around google classroom. She has not needed momma's help for one second! :) She always has a positive attitude and loves learning new things! She loves seeing her friends on the zoom classes too! So proud of you my little lucky Penny!

My Cash Money!

Cash started 1st grade! He already loves his teacher Mrs. Hays! He didn't quite get the fact that he wasn't leaving for school! lol He quickly figured out I was the mean teacher at home! lol He loves seeing his friends on the zoom class! Mrs. Hays is fabulous keeping these 1st graders attention! lol It's hard to sit still and stare at a screen! lol It's long! It has consumed my whole day! Once he is done with zoom he has 1-2 hrs extra of work on the computer and work pages. It's definitely a different school year! More work for momma making sure he's paying attention on zoom and making sure all his assignments are complete and turned in! Oh my! When is this going to end! lol All will be well! We are already getting used to the daily routine and we are getting the school work done! Proud of my boy to be able to adjust to this way of learning! He's killing it with his reading already! So proud!

Virtually unstoppable! We are kicking off this school year strong! We are keeping positive vibes around here!

Ice cream for the WIN! Once we got through our 1st day we headed to get Thrifty's Ice cream! Our fave!! Then on Friday when we finished the 1st week I took them to $5 Below! Our new favorite fun store to pick out a surprise for their hard work! So proud of these kids! We can do this virtual learning! 

 

Virtual Back To School Meet & Greet!

Meet and Greet was very different this year for these 2 cuties! Due to covid their school is doing virtual distant learning for the 1st 9wks of school! Penny starts 5th grade and is beyond excited for her teacher Mrs. Frehner! Cash starts 1st grade and is super excited to have Mrs. Hays! Instead of going into the school to see their classroom and meet their teacher they got to meet their teacher super fast face to face in the carpool lane to pick up their materials they will need for class at home.  Then today they had their official meet and greet over zoom with their teacher! They leaner fun things about their teachers and got to see who would be in their live virtual classes! Oh what a way to start this school year! It's a lot on this momma to make sure I can get them in and on time in their classes each day! All the emails from the school and teachers! lol I can't keep them all straight! It's definitely going to be a learning curve and adjustment having school from home! Let's kick this new school year off with a bang! We can do hard things!! Let's face it Penny will be teaching me and Cash how to work google classroom and zoom! lol We got this! lol

Cowabunga Bay Fun!

One last hoorah before schools start Monday! Auntie Melissa had 2 extra tickets to Cowabunga Bay  and took my kids with her kids for an amazing fun day! They spent the entire day from opening to closing at Cowabunga Bay! Auntie Melissa completely spoiled them! Food, drinks, ice cream treats to even giving them money for the gift shop! Oh what an amazing fun day for these 2! They had a blast playing all day with cousins! Auntie Melissa thanks for such a fun day and loving my kids so much! We love you and your sweet kids! Penny and Cash are sure lucky to have you as their amazing Auntie!

Happiest 7th Birthday My Cash Money!

Happy Birthday to my one and only BOY!! My Cashy boy just turned 7! Can't believe it! This boy is all boy! Wild, crazy, determined, clean, organized, handsome, and strong! He loves life to the fullest! Always wanting to have fun and such a Big tease! He loves egging on his 2 sisters! Smack dab in the middle of  them and they know he's the buggy brother! lol He's not letting any of us forget he's around! lol Along with him being an all crazy boy but he also is sensitive, loving, sweet to others, and looks out for others. He makes friends with anyone and every one! He has the best little Big personality! I love spoiling my boy!

All he wanted to do was go to St George to play with his Utah cousins! So that's exactly what we did! We headed to St George! He wanted to go to Laser Mania up there! They played tons of arcade games! Played laser tag and did glow in the dark mini golf too! They didn't stop and had a blast!!! 

After playing at Laser Mania he wanted to go to Wingers to get sung to and get a big ice cream cake for desert! lol He was very specific in what he wanted to do for his 7th Birthday! lol So that's exactly what we did! Went to Wingers for dinner and sang Happy Birthday with his ice cream cake!  He's the best!

 He had the Best day! Ended the night with a  Slumber party with Utah cousins! Penny even got a Birthday present from Auntie Eryka! lol So much fun! We have the best time with my sister and sweetest kids! We love you Cash Money!! Happy 7th Birthday for the WIN!

Happy 12th Anniversary!

Warning!!! Selfie overload! lol Lucky in Love is what we have always said to each other! I truly am the luckiest one to have found my soul mate, my best friend, my one true love, the one that has changed my life forever, my rock, and the best daddy ever! We just celebrated our 12th anniversary on 08-08-20! We had a fabulous stay cation at the Trump Hotel to Celebrate! Such a wonderful weekend together! The Trump Hotel is beautiful! We ate an amazing Italian restaurant called Battista's Whole in the Wall! So yummy! Highly recommend it! After dinner we enjoyed walking around down by the Linq! We rode the Linq Ferris-wheel! I have always wanted to ride it! After the Linq we continued walking around the strip! Holy people watching! lol Too much to see for my little eyeballs! lol Went back to Trump and ate some more and played cards! We love playing cards! lol 

Such a wonderful much needed stay cation together! Wouldn't want to spend my life with anyone else! Here's to many more! Love you honz!

 

River Fun!

A very spontaneous invite and trip to the river to kick off Cash's Birthday wk! Our next door neighbor Dude and  Sue invited us down so we had to go! I love creating fun little adventures and memories for the kids! We all had an absolute blast! The kids didn't stop for 2 days of river fun!

From Mud cooking competitions, to mud spas, to swinging off swings into the water, to floating down the river, to kayaking! These kids did not stop but to eat and sleep! Cash also brought down his birthday rc truck to drive around and had a blast! Lots of open area to play! They also went on jeep rides and mini gold cart rides too! Non stop fun!!

 Thank so much Bestie for and amazing time! My kids are still talking about their rive adventures! What a way to kick off Cash's birthday wk!!

Fun in the Sun!

 Fun in the sun! We love going out to Logandale to swim in Grandpa Jeff and Grammy Vicki's massive pool! We all have such a blast! Did mention amazing food too! :) Thanks for having us out there! We love you guys!

It's Birthday Party Time!

It's Party time!! We had our annual Birthday Bash for Penny (10) and Cash(7) at my dads! So many friends and family came out to celebrate these 2! This year I catered in port of subs! I also made my first pasta salad! It was good! lol Fruit, Chips, veggie tray and tons of drinks! It was a happening Birthday Bash!

Present time! These 2 cuties were sure spoiled! Thank you all for coming and making my kids feel so special! 

 Whipped cupcakes for the WIN!!! So amazingly delicious! I cant' believe I have a 10 yr old! and defiantly can't believe my one and only boy is 7yrs old!! Time is flying by!! Can't wait for our next Birthday Bash Pool Party at my dad's!
