Merry Christmas Eve!

It's Christmas Eve!! What a wonderful day we have had! We went to the new Star Wars movie! Omg it was amazing! So good! Like I can't wait to see it again so good! The kids loved it! Piper did good too! She even fell asleep! lol After the movie we went out to Eddies (the new Macayos) for early dinner! My daddy even joined us for dinner!I love when I get to spend time with him! Such a wonderful day with wonderful family! Our new tradition for Christmas eve for sure! 

Before getting the kids off to bed the kids wanted to open 1 present each! We have never done this! So I had Penny find the presents that all looked the same under the tree! lol They were so excited to open just 1! lol They each opened a new movie! New watching material for the car is a must! lol They were so hyped! It's hard getting them to bed on the night Santa comes!

Hot Cocoa!

A last minute impromptu Hot Cocoa fun at the Bachelor's! Oh how we love the Bachelor's! We enjoyed our Christmas eve-eve with amazing friends drinking hot cocoa, apple cider, and eating cookies! Thank you for having us over! It's so fun to just be together!

Christmas Sunday!

 We love Christmas Sunday! These 3 have stolen my heart long ago! The sweetest little faces! Christmas Sunday was put on by our youth in our ward! They are amazing! They put together a musical program celebrating our Savior! Feeling the spirit through music has got to be my most favorite! Remembering the true reason for the season our Savior Jesus Christ! The life and example he led for all of us to learn and grow from. For his atoning sacrifice, to save our lives so we can be forgiven and given the opportunity to live with our Heavenly Father, Jesus and my mom again one day. My heart is full!

Gingerbread Making Fun!

We love this time of year!! A very last minute plan to get together with bff cousins and make gingerbread houses! OMG it was so much fun! A Mess... lol... but so much fun! Penny always takes her time and made hers very detailed this year! Cash moved fast but still had every gumdrop in the right place! lol Piper even loved making her very first house! I'm pretty sure she ate more icing and candy than putting it on her house! lol! We love being with cousins and making memories! These cuties all had such a blast! As soon as they were done making theirs and taking pics they licked all their frosting off and ate their houses! lol That was a first! We usually save them and don't eat them but Aunt Bre favorite made all the icing! It was finger licking good! lol The kids couldn't resist! lol! What a fabulous night!! Our new tradition together!

Piper's pre-k Christmas Program!

This little one loves to perform! I wonder who she'd been watching the last almost 3 yrs of her life! lol She has been singing and dancing around our house her Christmas songs! Her fun little pre-k class had pj day and their Christmas program! She was too dang cute up there just a singing! She loves going to school, loves her friends and her teachers so much!

Once on a House Top!

 Penny performed her little butt off in  her last Christmas performance for the season for Singers company!! Once on a House Top was the title of their performance! She is just the best to watch! She gives it her all the whole show!! Love it! Thanks to all who came to watch her perform! She loved seeing you in the crowd! Way to go Penny you killed your solo! I'm so proud to be your momma!

Our Singing Angel!

Singing Angel! Penny was asked to sing in Sacrament! She beamed and of course said yes! She was so excited to sing her Christmas church song that she had been working on. It was called "Do you have room?" She did an unbelievable job! Her stage presence was on point! She got right up there and smiled to everyone and began to sing! This girl can perform! She amazes me! Only 9yrs old and is so brave and has so much confidence! I'm so proud of my little singing angel! Not a dry eye in sacrament! She filled the chapel with her sweet spirit singing like an angel sent straight from heaven! Thanks to all our family that made the extra effort to come and watch her sing! She truly is a daughter of our heavenly father! and she loves sharing her talent to all! We love you sweet Penny! We are so lucky that you were sent to us!

NFR Finals!

WOW! We were lucky enough to be given last minute tickets to the NFR Finals! We couldn't believe it when we got the call! lol We dropped all plans we had schedule and took our og bff's out for a country night out on the town! lol Yee-Haw!!! So much fun! I couldn't believe my eyes! It was an amazing show! So many lights, music, fireworks, tricks on horses all before it even started! The events were amazing! Watching these cowboys was something else! They have got to be so sore! omg their poor bodies! lol We even made it on the jumbo-tron! lol My first time ever on the big screen and the first time ever at the NFR! What an amazing night! We had a blast! Thanks for the tickets Larkins! We can't thank you enough!

More Singing for Penny!

 

More Singer's Christmas performances! She performed at a retirement facility and they just loved it!  

She performed her little heart out just like she always does! So Fun to watch! My little rock star! Love you Penny! You really are a shining star!

Way to Go Penny!

Congrats Penny pie! You did it! You received the Nevada Citizenship Award! This whole semester they have learned everything about Nevada! They had to take a big test and get 100% to get the award along with turning in a project that represented Nevada! Yay Penny for your 100% test! and for her big project she made a quilt that represented Nevada! It had all the state symbols! Her fabric was even our state flag! Thanks to daddy's profession in making custom anything and everything he totally made the vinyl and Penny heat pressed it on! Then Grandma DeeDee taught Penny how to sew and Penny sewed her blanket together! It turned out amazing! I even made a little shutterfly book with all the steps it took Penny to make her quilt from start to finish! Her teacher was so impressed and loved it so much! Way to go Penny! You're rocking 4th grade!

Penny Performing @ Bass Pro!

 My little star! Penny had her 1st Christmas performance at Bass Pro! She of course did an amazing job performing! She's so fun to watch! My brother's family, my sister Eryn, Joana and Eryka even came down from Utah to watch little Penny perform! It was so fun to have them there to watch her! We had such a wonderful time together! Spent the whole day with each other! Love it!

Seeing the Best Santa!

Oh what fun it is to see Santa! and this Santa was a perfect Santa!! He was so sweet and patient with every child that sat up on his lap! My kids were beyond excited to see Santa! Cash couldn't wait to tell him what he wanted and Piper couldn't wait to just be close to him and sit on his lap! I loved that I snapped this pic of the kids telling Santa what they wanted! So dang cute! Love how happy they are sitting up on his lap! Best year ever with Santa!

The Magical Christmas Express!

 We love this time of year! Especially love our tradition of going to the Western Elite Christmas Express out in Alamo! It's absolutely the most magical experience ever! We went on on the rides, ate food, drank hot chocolate, had all the treats, saw all the lights, sang all the songs and at the very end of our night saw Santa! The kids were so excited! Piper loved all the dressed up characters! Kept running up to them over and over giving them big hugs! She was most excited for "Sansa" (Santa)!

Thank you Williams family for the most wonderful magical night! Can't until next year to go again!

Penny's Christmas Choir Concert!

 

Penny sure loves to sing! She joined the Choir club at school and they just had their Christmas Concert! She had so much fun! Her little club sounded so good! Penny got to ring the bells in one of their songs! She also auditioned for a solo ensemble of 4 girls and got the part! She's just our little rock star! Couldn't be more proud of her! Great job Penny! We sure love you!

The most Wonderful Time of Year!

 Love this time of year! We have been getting into the Christmas Spirit around here! We went to downtown Summerlin to donate to the Giving Machine! What a great experience to buy for others in need this holiday season for local and global needs! We donated dental hygiene kits, 3 chickens, lunches for kids, and a box of produce! The kids thought it was so cool to pick out things for people in need. #lighttheworld

 While we were at downtown Summerlin we saw the parade! It's been our tradition to go since Piper was born! She really got into it this year! She loved it!!

Another fun tradition the kids have done with their Grandma DeeDee is go to the speedway to see all  the lights! This year Piper and I got to go! I have never seen the lights there! It was so awesome! Piper loved seeing all the Christmas lights too! So beautiful! Thanks grandma for the fun tradition! You're the best!

Happy Thanksgiving!

  

Happy Thanksgiving from our home to yours! We had such an enjoyable time at my sister Eryka's new home up in Utah! She hosted Thanksgiving this year and it was amazing! She's always been the hostest with the mostest! She loves to cook! Not me at all! lol The kids played all day and we enjoyed visiting, Disney plus and eating! Love this family of mine so much!

A priceless moment when we all went to visit my mom! We lined all of her grand kids up in their ages to take a pic! She would have really loved this! We all got tender hearted and cried! We miss her so much everyday! It's been 22yrs since she left us! I can't believe it! We are so grateful we still have our dad! He's truly the best! We love being together! Such a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Poor Little Piper!

Poor little Piper! She's always keeping up with the big kids! Monday night her and Cash got into Spider man costumes. Not realizing it until it was too late she had put on the spider man mask backwards so she couldn't see very good out of the material. The eyes of the costume were on the back of her head! Well Cash was chasing her! They were giggling and laughing and before we could stop what was going to  happen she ran right into the corner end table by the couch with her forehead! Chad got her up and immediately saw the blood just coming out. All down her face, eyelashes,, lids!  Ouch! Daddy finally got her calmed down and stopped the bleeding so we could see if we needed to take her in! Well indeed she needed stitches! Thankfully we have a very good friend of ours that is an oral surgeon and he met us at his office! 3 stitches later and 1 big goose egg! Poor baby! She was so sad! Talk a bout traumatizing! Cash was crying because he felt so bad for playing and chasing! Sweet Penny cleaned the entire floor and carpet from all the blood splats! I'm not the mom that can move cars in a crisis! I completely shut down! I don't know what to do! I'm not a first responder! Daddy is the hero in this story for sure!! Trying to keep all of us calm! OMG! Then the next morning after I worked I came home to a stitch falling out! I was freaking out! Luckily we didn't need to restitch! Omg thank goodness! This whole experience has been traumatizing for all of us! 1st time for Piper to get stitches and 1st time for momma to have to have one of her babies get stitches! Hopefully it wont leave to big of a scar! Don't mess with pretty! Man are we grateful for our friend that stitched her up and took such good care of her!

 1 wk later it was time to get Piper's Stitched out! I was nervous for her screams but to my surprise she was so brave and didn't make 1 peep! You could tell she was nervous! She had a very serious face lol but boy oh boy she did perfect! So proud of my baby! Now on to silicone patches to minimize her scar!

Sand Dunes!

Quick fun little day trip to the Dunes! We love spending time with my dad and the Johnson's! Kids played all day! It was a beautiful day!

Disneyland Surprise!

Surprise Happy 4oth Birthday Adam! My sister Eryka called me and said she wanted to surprise Adam and go to Disneyland for his 4oth birthday and asked if we could go too! He shares his Birthday with Mickey! How fitting right? Well we totally made it happen and made shirts for all of us to wear just a few days before we went down to Disneyland! Eryn and Joanna came too! We totally surprised him! and we surprised our kids! 1st time I have ever done that! I was so giddy inside! They always know where we are going or what we are doing and boy was that fun to surprise them! It's been quite a few years since we have been to Disney! Cash was the baby last time and didn't even remember going! He kept saying "this is my 1st time here" lol It was the best!!! It's also been a dream of Eryka and I to go to Disneyland together with all our kids! We had so much fun!! We did pretty dang good moving and getting around the park with such a big group and all the little's! We lasted until they closed the park at midnight! lol Well Cash and Piper fell asleep but Penny was a trooper and did not want to miss out! Best day ever! Our new tradition together! Can't wait to get back! We LOVE Disneyland!

The kids loved all the Characters in costume! The Christmas decor was all up and just beautiful! Such a great time of year to come!

Cash was finally tall enough to ride big rides! He was in heaven! Having a blast! Piper loved all her little rides that she could go on too!

My honz loved using the food app so there was no waiting in lines to eat! lol We ate all the Disney treats imaginable!

Without even knowing it we would be at the right time and place for all the shows, the parade, fire works, and the snowing! Best day ever! The kids didn't stop smiling all day me either!

Happy Thanksgiving at DeeDee's!

Happy early Thanksgiving with Chad's family! DeeDee always puts on the best spread of food! An amazing Thanksgiving feast for sure! The cousin's played non stop while we visited and ate non stop! lol We also shared what we were Thankful for and it was so sweet to hear what the Little's had to say! Such a wonderful time together making memories!

Sand Dune FUN!

Sand Dune Season in full effect! Love this time of year! Just got back from our 1st trip of the season! So much fun!! Our camp was huge! 22 trailers and families! 1 big giant circle! We celebrated my very good friends daughter's 3rd birthday (Piper's little BFF) out there with a legit bounce house, food galore, and glow party at night! We even got to watch the Golden Knights play on a projector screen sitting by the camp fire! It can't get any better than this!! The kids played non stop and I chit chatted with amazing friends all weekend long! Seriously one of my most favorite times out there! Can't wait to get back with these lovely humans!

These 3 had big smiles from sun up to sun down! They were so excited for Halloween! They got to wear their costumes to school and had so much fun from parades to parties! After school we trick or treated our neighbor hood then headed to Chad's aunt and uncle for buffalo wild wings and more trick or treating! Such a great day and night!

 Penny was the most prettiest and sweetest Jasmine! She fit this role perfectly!

Piper was the cutest little Rajah Tiger! She would growl when you would talk to her about her costume! lol She so dang cute! As you can tell she loved every second of dressing up!

San Diego Here We Come!

 11yr tradition and still going strong! We look forward to our wonderful San Diego trip every year! This year we did Sea World and the Zoo! Piper had never been to Sea World and last time we were there Cash was the baby! Man oh man did we have such an amazing time! The kids loved it! They even had new rides open! So much fun! Piper was even tall enough for the rides! She was so excited!
