Super fun spontaneous trip to Doheny Beach in Dana Point with my Bestie neighbor Sue and her daughters- Sondi, Kaili, Cambria, and Ali plus all their kids! Girls trip plus the kids! We had a blast! So epic! A must do every year!!! We even got to bring my nephew Mav along!! The girls loves him! He's such a delight to be with! We kicked off Penny's Birthday week with a bang!!! 3 days at the beach then added on an additional day because we didn't want the fun to end! Wahoo!!!
Day 1- Living the beach life! The kids have an absolutely blast with Bestie Sue's grandkids! They are my kids besties! They jump for any chance to get to hang and play with them! So this trip was absolutely epic for them!!! Non stop play with non stop smiles!
Great food and fun together! and ice-cream! Both our favorites when we go to Cali! Srgt Pepp's and Creamistry! Spent all day and evening with the all the kids! All smiles!! Mav fit right in too! Had the best time with his new friends!
We stayed at a beautiful hotel! Beach front inn and suits in Dana Point! We totally had a beach view too! It was perfect! Yummy breakfast each morning too!
Day 2- Living and loving the beach life!
We even added in shopping this day close down byt the beach! Got to love Jack's!
My kids wanted to have matching Jr Life Guard gear! So we had to get them suited up! Hats and board shorts for the win! All the kids that are in Jr Life Guards loved it! Also surprised the kids with all matching pura vida bracelets! The kids were all hyped! Fun memories of their trip with Mav and all their besties down in Doheny Beach! Dinner together again and swimming at the condo that Kaili and Cambria stayed at! Kids played from morning to night!!!
Day 3- Last day at Doheny Beach! We were supposed to go but decided to stay one more night and day! Wahoo! My kids plus Mav were so excited to keep the adventures and party going!!! This day we did boardwalk ice-cream and shopping! The kids all got Doheny Hoodies for Mav and Penny, tees for Cash and Piper, and a neon orange hat for Cash to remember their epic trip! Piper also picked out a couple little toys too! I love spoiling them! :) Looking good in your new gear!
Tons of fun in the sun!!! These kids all get along so good together! Every single one of them and we had a big group of kids all playing each day together! I love it! Making amazing memories that's for sure!
Dinner all together again at a taco shop! It was yummy! Then traveled over to PV where Bestie Sue is from! She gave me a beautiful tour around PV of all the lights at night and her home!! Thrifty ice-cream for our tour treat! lol Then checked into our 2nd hotel in Torrance! I learned on my tour Torrance is just down the hill from PV! lol
Last day in Cali- More tour guide Barbie from Bestie! We went the Hawaiian Roll company bakery! Delicious! Then to Bestie's favorite donut shop Jay's! Talk about amazing donuts! Holy moly! More touring PV in the daylight! Got to see all sides of PV! PV is a peninsula! Such beautiful ocean all around! Felt like I was in Maui! Beaches and Ocean every where! Beautiful houses too! Just gorgeous! All the kids plus a few adults went on a hike down the cliffs in PV to the ocean! They were looking for tide pools and ended up seeing an old sunken ship wreck that came to surface! Totally cool! I just loved hearing Bestie tell me all her stories of PV as we drove around her home town!
Our last stop on our Epic trip was Ruby's! We took over one whole section! There was so many of us! Our waiter was on fire! So amazing to be able to handle our huge large group! lol We had the best time and alwasy love when we get to eat at Ruby's! Said our goodbyes and away we went headed back home! We had the best time ever! Made my heart happy to see the smiles on my kids face and my nephew's of pure joy! They had an epic time! We hope to be able to do this trip again next year! Our new tradition! Best memories made here with all their very best friends! Here's to kicking off Penny's Birthday week!
