Merry Christmas Eve!

Merry Christmas Eve! Oh what a lovely day we have had! We got all dressed up in our best Christmas dress! Enjoyed a beautiful musical sacrament! I'm grateful for the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ! He is my light in this crazy world we live in! I'm so grateful for my eternal family!

Cash and Piper were even part of the musical Christmas program! The primary sang a few songs! They did great! Love hearing the cute kids sing! After church Chad made his amazing puff pancakes and we had our bff  Decker's over to enjoy! Yum! Thanks honz for always making it happen no matter what it is!

We lounged in our pj's all day! For Dinner we got together with our bff Decker's and the Bestie Facer's! Steak, seabass, sushi, salads, mashed potatoes, rolls and desserts! We ate like kings and queens! It was so lovely to be all together! We love our neighbors so much! They are family to us! 

After dinner we watched videos about Christ and read about the birth of our Savior! Christ is the reason for the season! Our hearts were humble and filled with love, peace and joy! Love my Savior! Merry Christmas to all and to all a goodnight!

 

Christmas Eve Eve!

It's  Christmas Eve  Eve!! What a fun day we have had! First was getting lunch with our bff Decker's! Smash Burger for the win! Haven't been there in a while! It was yummy! Jackie and I had no clue we were both in the same green color! So fun! Matchy matchy! lol We of course had to take a pic! We sure love being with our faves!

All I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth! Piper lost another Tooth! This time it was her other front tooth! Just in time for Christmas! She hasn't stop singing the song! "All I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth! My 2 front teeth!" lol She will be 7 in a wk and a half! She has caught up to Cash! lol She is my fastest out of all my kids at loosing teeth for her age around here! lol This tooth was a family affair! lol Piper is too funny! Once she gets her mind set to anything she's doing it! In this case it was her not so loose front tooth! lol But she wiggled and wiggled and was determined to get it out today! She had me on plyer duty! So I would use the plyers to twist the tooth and loosen it! Then she would go back to wiggling in! Then Cash gets involved! lol He wanted to try and pull it out! lol He got it looser for her but the final pull to pull it out was Daddy! He loves getting the teeth out! Me too! She's one tough chick! She was so happy! Tooth Fairy coming tonight! Love you Piper! Getting to big!

To end the night we drove around to see amazing Christmas lights! I pulled up the Fox 5 news post about lights in the valley! So we mapped it out and had a blast! We only stayed on our part of town too and saw so many amazing displays of lights! The time and effort people put into this blows my mind! There are quite a few jems of houses just around us! Had no clue! Our fave was the Albrights! Loved getting a pic at their house and getting to see one of my students! They even gave out hot chocolate! We also enjoyed the digital lights! There were 2 houses that went along with music and the lights displayed digitally! It was way cool! An amazing light show for sure! Love being with my family! Also in this collage was Honz and Cash putting in my new faucet! Love it! Our other faucet was leaking so we needed to replace it so we picked out a fancy black one! Upgrade for the win! lol Thanks for teaching my boy to be a man! lol Thanks for always taking care of me and our home!

The Magical Christmas Lights of the Speedway!

I love to fit in all the Christmas things! So this wk we got to enjoy the magical Christmas lights at the Speedway! Thanks to Gma DeeDee she offered her season pass that comes with fast track lane to us! We jumped all over that! lol I told my bff Jackie and we quickly had it all planned out! We were so happy that Gma DeeDee came along with us too! First we had homemade chili and bread at the Decker's! Honz made delicious hot chocolate for the road! We drove separate but met up in a parking lot and jumped in the back of the Decker's truck! It was a gorgeous night! We had layered up so much and had so many blankets and ski coats packed that we didn't even have to use them! lol We were so lucky the weather was so nice! No wind chill! Nothing! Loved being with Jackie's amazing boys and beautiful wives! We had so much fun in the back of the truck chit chatting, laughing, and enjoying the beautiful magical lights!

Thanks Gma for the amazing night! Thanks bff Decker's for coming along with us for all the fun! It's been years since we have gone! Hopefully this can be a new tradition for us to go and enjoy the beautiful lights! We all Loved it! Well what else can I squeeze in before Christmas! lol

 

Christmas Break Wk 1!

Well our Christmas break started off a little rough! We were all under the weather but we seemed to pull it together and get out and have some fun! So about mid wk we went to the movies and saw Wonka! Absolutely loved it! It's a musical too! Had no clue! So good! Then the next day we went to Migration! The bird movie! Super cute and fun too! We were on a movie kick for sure! lol  Enjoyed both movies! Just what we needed! To get out of the house but do something that is relaxing! Lounging! Eating popcorn! and watching the movies! 

Penny's cute friend Chloe got baptized this wk as well! Such a special evening! It was even her birthday too! So it was double special! Chole had asked Penny to join a couple of her missionary discussions! Penny thought that was super cool to be apart of her conversion path and loved being aprt of the lesson with her! She also  asked if Penny  would bear her testimony at her baptism! Of course Penny said yes and did amazing! I love to hear her testimony! So proud of my Penny! We are also  so proud of Chloe and for her decision to join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! After her baptism we went to the Hales house where we celebrated her Birthday! Such a fun Birthday party for Chloe! 

Friday hit and we were ready to get out and play some more! Penny arranged with all her friends to hang at Downtown Summerlin! We started at Dave and Busters! The teens ended up getting lunch and walking around! It was rainy today too! All of a sudden winter decided to show up today! lol! Cash, Piper and myself played in Dave and Busters! They have some fun games! The littles had a blast! 

We got lunch and ran into the teens walking around a few times! Of course I had to snap a couple of pics! It's totally my thing and the teens just put up with me! lol I took Piper and Cash over to the Giving Machine! I have wanted to get over to here all December so I wanted to make sure to donate while we were there today! Cash picked out Shoes to give! Piper picked out Lunch to give! They loved it! Made my heart happy! Such a great day! Love seeing my kids smiling and loving life! 

 

Family Christmas Dinner with Jeff & Vicki!

As Christmas approaches it gets busier and busier! Tonight was Jeff and Vicki's Family Christmas Dinner and gathering! Oh what a lovely night it was together! They even invited my brother out! That was so awesome! Such amazing food! 2 different Turkeys! The smoked one we couldn't get enough of! Lol Yummy potatoes... all different kids! Pies and cheesecake to top it all off! 

The kids even swam! lol I love when I get to spend time and catch up with Vicki and her girls too! 

Cousin time is always such a great time! It was fun to catch up! Lot's of chatter and laughter! Thanks Gramps and Grammy for having us over! Oh how we love our family! 

 

The First Noel!

Today was a very special day! My prefect, precious, pretty, Penny sang in church! How many "p's" can I describe Penny with! lol She sang "The First Noel!" She sang like an angel! Beautiful as always! Today however was more special then ever! Today was my Mom's Birthday! Penny is named after my mom! My mom loved music! Taught piano lessons for years! She is the one that instilled the love for music in all of us! My Penny is my most musically inclined! I'm pretty sure my Penny was handed picked from Heaven to come down to me by my mom! So it's very fitting and special that my Penny sang on my mom's birthday! We will never forget how special today was! I know my mom was smiling down from Heaven! So proud of her little Penny! Oh how I wish everyday my mom was here in person! Especially on days like this!  Also so much love and support  for Penny today! Ryan and Em came! Eryn and Joanna came! Gma DeeDee came! Even Sadie came! Such a special day! So grateful for Penny's new vocal coach Ms. Christie! She came an accompanied  her today! 

Thank you for loving my Penny! Today was a wonderful day! Penny is always magical when she sings! 

 

Sand Dune Day Trip!

 A quick little day trip to Dumont for the boys! They had an absolute blast! This was Cash's first trip going up comp hill on his quad! Way to go son! He had been talking about doing this all wk! He did it! He put his mind to it and conquered it! So proud! My #1! Honz had a blast on Ryan's new quad! Thanks Ryan for supplying a quad for honz! lol They rode all day! Had an absolute blast! The girls and I stayed home and wrapped presents, had lunch with Jackie and shopped! Great day for us too! 

Outback!

I love squeezing in dinner with my faves! Always love being with my brother and fam! We both have jam packed weeks but we also find time to get together! We met up for dinner at Outback! We hadn't been there in a while! Great food and great laughs! Love my family!

School and Work Christmas Fun!

Oh how I love working at the school! I know I say this a lot but man oh man is it fun! Especially on dress up weeks and classroom party weeks! lol It's the best being around all the students and staff! Too much fun! Kicking off the last week of school with so much fun! This collage was when we wore our Christmas tangles lights tees! lol The kids also took in their teacher gifts! They were both so excited to spoil their teachers! I'm so grateful for both Hays and Skelton! They are amazing with my kids! Thank you! Piper earned a leadership lunch with Mrs. Hays so I of course had to stop by to see her and take pics! So proud of her! She's been working hard! The following day was Grinch Whoville day! Love my co-workers! We have so much dressing up! 

Ugly Sweater day! The kids love this one! I do too! Mine is extra! Would you expect anything less! lol Lot's a surprises trickling into me from my amazing students! I am amazed at how giving and how much thought they put into my surprises! Thank you! You did not need to get me anything! So unexpected! 

Santa! Mrs Claus! Buddy the Elf! Molly Elf on the Shelf! and all the Reindeer and Elves! This was a fun day! So much extra going on here! The kids were so excited to see Santa and Mrs.  Claus! I loved seeing Buddy the Elf! lol We had too much fun posing for this dress up day! 

I got to stop in at Cash and Piper's Classroom Christmas Parties! This is the best part of my job! Being able to see my kids! Yay!! Love it! I even got Penny's Brigham to take a selfie of their group when they walked to splash and blaze! Penny had half days most of the week for semester exams! On Friday they walked over to Splash and Blaze! Love her group of friends! Such fun good kids! Such an amazing half day for all! Christmas Break here we come!

Right when school got out we had our work Christmas Party at the Santa Fe Bowling lanes! Love my SPED team of ladies! We have way too much fun together! Destinee sure had a blast bowling with them! lol Destinee actually bowled her best! New record! lol 112! Haven't gotten even near 100 let alone over 100 in years! lol Such a fun time to kick off our Christmas break! 

 

Church Christmas Fun!

Ward Christmas Party! Such a fun night! Lots of eating, singing and crafting! 

Even Santa came! A great Santa too!! Oh how we love our ward family!

The  following night was our YW Polar Express Progressive Dinner! Put on by the Beehives! Such a wonderful beautiful night! So creative! We traveled to 3 different homes! Did some caroling in the neighborhood and ended with Santa and a beautiful spiritual message! Oh how I love the youth in our ward! Love the amazing leaders too! Penny is beyond lucky to have you in her life! Thank you!

 

Christmas Choir Concert!

Well this was a fun night! Not only did my Penny perform but my Cashy did too! Tonight was the school Christmas Choir Concert! Cash joined the choir club at the beginning of the school year and tonight was his very first concert performance! His first ever being on stage! We are used Penny always up on stage performing but tonight was Cashy's first time! Wahoo! He did great and he loved it! He said he's always going to be a choir boy! lol Too cute! I loved being able to watch both my kids up there performing! It made for a great night for me! Bonus was most of Penny's friend group all joined the choir this year! So class is fun everyday with her crew of peeps! 

Here's Cashy! He did amazing! Sang so good and smiled! He had great stage presence! lol Wonder who has been coaching him on the side! lol Big sis for sure! Way to go  Cash! You did great! So did the whole elementary choir club! He was so proud of himself! Just look at that face! lol We are so proud of you too Cash!

Penny was up next! This was her first time in the back row! lol So there a lot of kids in these pics but I was just wanting her! lol She of course nailed it! She sang so good and great stage presence too! lol She's a natural! In her element! Love watching her perform! It never gets old that's for sure!

Yee- Haw!

Yee- Haw!! NFR Rodeo Finals here we come!! You know Honz and I never stop playing! We had an absolute blast at the Rodeo!! Honz was given 4 tickets so we had to go and take our bff's Deckers!!! There's nothing like getting all dressed up  to go to the rodeo! lol I was dripping in fringe! lol 

It was an action packed night of Cowboys! We had so much fun hooting an hollering! lol What a night! We love the Rodeo!!! Thanks for the date night honz! :)

 

Western Elite Christmas Experience!

We enjoyed a magical amazing night at the Western Elite Christmas Experience! This is hands down our most favorite Christmas tradition! This year we added new faces to our big group! We had a total of 28 with in our group to come out and get into the spirit of Christmas! Wahoo! So wonderful and so magical! We are beyond grateful and thankful for the Williams family! The whole event is put on by them and it's Free to the public! Special invitation only! I'm so lucky I am one of the special ones to be able to bring my family and friends out to the most amazing night of their life! We traveled together with the Faces in a 12 passenger van! lol That was so much fun! The kids had a blast riding together! More trips together in the van please! lol

First stop was the food! We ate yummy food and then the kids road the little train ride!

Next up was the wagon ride!!!

It was now time to get in line for the Christmas Express!

We made it to the train! This year we snapped a cute family pic outside the train! Of course we requested Taeya's train!!! We surprised her! She was so excited to see us!

Taeya got our bus jamming! She got us all to sing too! Cash and Penny got to sing on her mic! That was so fun!

Got off the train and took our big photo! Just missing Ryan and his family! That would of made it 32 total! Ryan got tied up at Mav's wrestling tournament and couldn't leave! We will get you guys there next year for sure! We sure missed not having them there with us!

After photos we went to another train! We love this train too! Then candy cane face painting for Piper and Cash! We had an absolute magical time! We loved having our new faces come out and see what all the rave is about! Thanks again Facers for driving us!! Thank you again Western Elite and Williams family for an unforgettable night! It's truly the best way to kick off the Christmas season!

My Christmas Performing Star!

Oh how we love to watch performances and especially when they involve Piper!!! Piper performed in her 2nd Christmas show with her cute little Singers Company friends! Wow did they all do such a fabulous job! Piper really put on a show for us! She is so fun to watch! She was singing loud and dancing so good! Really hamming it up! lol She nailed her speaking part and her singing solo!! So proud of her!

That was so fun that we caught them on our side of town after Mav's wrestling tournament! Another great night!
