Daddy Dughter Dance!

Penny headed off on her very 1st date with her daddy to the Valentine Daddy Daughter Dance at her school!! She wanted to get all fancied up for her daddy!! She wanted her makeup done, wore her sparkliest dress and her highest heels to dance the night away!! She had the best time and was so proud of her daddy by her side! As for daddy he was on cloud nine! He loves spoiling her! Talk about proud daddy!!! He was for sure! I'd say Penny's the luckiest girl ever to have him has her daddy!! I just love these two to pieces!!

One Smart Cookie!!!

We have one smart little cookie on our hands!!! Penny was awarded not only 1 but 2 awards at school!! She was awarded the Soaring Eagle Award out of 25 students in her am kindergarten class!!! Which means she was the top student for the quarter!!! Also out of 125 students she was selected by her Spanish teacher as the Best Spanish student for the quarter as well!! She also got the Principal's award and was given a medal from her Principal!! WOW! We couldn't be more proud of our little girl!!! She works so hard and is such a good girl!! She's always setting a good example!! She was super proud of herself and felt so special! I guess you can say "mean mom" is paying off!! We are so Proud of you Penny Pie!!! Keep up the Excellent work!!

Let it Snow!!

 

It was a last min day trip up to Brian head we go!!! We had heard that my brother, his family, Eryn, Joanna and Eryka were all going to be up there for the weekend! So when Saturday rolled around we decided last min to go up and surprise them!! and boy did we surprise them!! They were all so excited to see us! We didn't ski or board but we had a blast spending the day in the Snow!! We were so impressed with how good  my nephews, Chance and Mav were skiing!! Penny and Cash had so much Fun throwing the snow and rolling around in the snow! The best time watching them just play and play!! We can't wait to get back up there again!! and next time Penny will be in ski school!! She can't wait!

 

Big Big Boy!!

Somebodies been busy doing Big Boy things over here!! Sad my baby isn't a baby any more but we have just been so proud of our Big Boy!! He proudly wears big boy underwear and has been so easy and so good while in this training process!! I do not not like this part of being mom but boy has he picked it right up and been so easy!! He gets it and we are so relieved, happy and proud!! He wants to wear his big boy underwear and we gladly let him!! We also changed his crib into his toddler bed! He's so proud of that!! He doesn't always stay in his bed as good as the crib but that's OK! We are so excited for him to be a Big Big Boy!! Penny is just loving this phase too! She is so proud and encourages him too!! She gets so excited over ever little new thing he does!!! She's the best little cheerleader that's for sure!! We couldn't be more proud of the both of them!!! Yay for being such a Big boy Cashy!! We love you!!! Now Chad says...."it's time for another!" hahaha

5-4-3-2-1......Happy New Year 2016!

 

5-4-3-2-1....Happy New Year!!! and what a Fun way to ring it in!!! We have not see the New year come in for like 6 years!! hahaha I now lame! But this year we got a sitter and Rang in the new year with our most favorite 2 humans ever! We went to dinner 1st at the new Mexican restaurant in Downtown Summerlin called Pancho's! It was pretty good and the service was amazing! Over the top! We all 4 pretty much had our own waiter!! hahaha Nothing but great times with these 2! We never stop laughing! After dinner we got invited over to my cousin's Bunco party! We had never played but boy did we have fun!! So fun!! We laughed some more there and as you can see a photo shoot to bring in the New Year! hahaha! Good times!! Bring it on 2016!! Can't wait to see what this year has instore for us!!  

Good Times at the Dunes!

 Nothing but the best of times out at the dunes!! It was so cold! Probably the coldest it has ever been out there in all the years we have gone! Just love spending time with my family! We headed out there the day after Christmas and stayed until the day before New Year's eve! A much needed 5 days away to relax and enjoy riding, playing, eating, and visiting! Probably my most happiest time of year because I get my Honz stress free and all to myself!! No work! No cell phones! Best trip ever! We love making memories!! So much to be thankful for! Our way to end 2015!!

 

The Best Christmas Breakfast!

 

 It's tradition to go to my mother-n-law's house on Christmas morning for the best breakfast of your life! Seriously the best breakfast ever!! It's so fun to get together with all Chad's siblings! We do our gift exchange and just relax and talk all together! It's a highlight for both/Chad and I to do this each year!

The Merriest Christmas ever!

 Merry Christmas everyone! Boy oh boy was Santa good to us this year!!

A Merry Christmas Eve!!

 

Such a fun quick trip to see my sister and her sweetest family on Christmas Eve!! These 4 just play and play and play! I was lucky enough to get my hair done by the best!! Just love how she always takes such good care of me! Even Cashy got a fresh cut for Christmas! Let's just say we were all looking ON for Christmas! Hahaha! Sure loved our quick trip to Utah!  Thank you little Eryka for always taking such great care of us! We love you!

Christmas Fun at Dad & Janeen's!

 Lot's of Christmas fun over at my dad and Janeen's!! Janeen always puts on a great Christmas dinner and tons of desserts too! So much food and treats!!! Grandma Janeen and Grandpa John always go out of their way to spoil all the grand kids!!! This year to add to the fun Grandma Janeen planned a cute little Christmas play of the true meaning of Christmas with all the grand kids in it! Complete with a stable backdrop and costumes for all!! So fun!

Our Big Star!!

 Oh  how we love Singer's Company! Oh how Penny's just Loves to sing, dance and put on a show! Oh how we love to watch her perform her little heart out! She had 3 Christmas performances this year!! and boy did she dance and sing her little butt off each night!! Proud parents over here! She seriously is a hoot to watch!! Just love her so much!! This top collage is from her very 1st performance at the retirement home!! These sweet elderly people just love these girls and love watching them perform!!

Penny's Class Party!

 

The cutest group of little kids yet!! I was lucky to get to volunteer in Penny's kindergarten class for her Christmas Party!! Penny sure loves when I'm in there helping out! It sure makes my heart happy! I hope she never changes about that!! She's my biggest fan!! haha! She has had so much Fun in her class! Has made so many new and amazing little friends! She just loves her teacher Mrs. Fisher and we are super sad to see her go!! However we are so excited for her new teacher Mrs. Marx! We grew up together and I've gotten to do her makeup for some special events as well! YAY!! Cant' wait for Penny to have her as her teacher!! 

Magical Forrest Fun!

So I have been so sick with pneumonia for a few weeks now and haven't been out of the house to take my kids to do anything Christmasy!! My mother-n-law has been wanting to go to the Magical Forrest and take the grand kids for a few weeks now! So I decided to break out of the house and take the kids and go with Grandma! We all had blast! Cash loved the Choo-choo train ride through the Forrest of lights and Penny loved it all!! While we were there we even got to see Santa!! YAY!! He was the sweetest best Santa!!! Penny had fun talking to him and Cash was a bit of a hot mess!! They wouldn't let me take any pictures so that's why it's not in the collage!! Such a beautiful night!! So fun to get out and feel the Christmas spirit! Thanks Grandma Deedee!!

DeeDee and Fadi hired an amazing photographer to take our big family pics! Turns out I worked with the photographer Natalee at MAC years ago! So crazy! Such a small world! Happy Thanksgiving!

We have so much to be Thankful for! We are truly blessed! I'm so grateful for family and friends! This is what this time of year is all about! So For Thanksgiving we headed up to be with my sister and her family and all my extended family!! Our kids had a blast playing with all my cousins kids!! We only see my extended family about this time every year! It's so fun to catch up on life and see how big their kids are getting!! It's crazy how much changes in just 1 year! We spent most the day at my aunt and uncles house! Chad took all the cousins on rzr rides in his new turbo! They had a blast! Us ladies planned out our Black Friday shopping!! and before we  knew it it was time to shop!! This is my favorite part!! Chad is always so good to me and stays with the kids and gives me no limit of spending! haha He's so my match! To start I met up with some of our greatest friends that were up in Santa Clara as well visiting and we were off!! Then shortly after our first stop my sister met up with us! We shopped and shopped!! Found so many amazing deal!! Love getting all my Christmas done in 1 night! We spent the next day up there and went to the new movie "The Good Dinosaur!" It was so good! Such a sweet touching movie! At one point I was tearing up I look over to chad and he had tears in his eyes then looked down at Penny and she was even crying!! She really gets into the movies at her age! Now Cash on the other hand pretty much watch us watch the movie!! haha! He had more fun seeing our facial reactions than the movie! He's still a little too young! haha! All in all we had a wonderful family filled mini vacation!

Dune Time!

More Dune fun for us this last weekend! It was a beautiful weekend to be out there! Great riding and great laughs by the fire!! Can't wait to get back there!!

Trail Riding in our new Razor!

We have been loving our new 4 seat Razor!! Loving it so much we went with our bff Johnson's out up in the mountains behind their house for some trail riding!! It was so beautiful! Perfect weather too!! We came across beautiful red rocks and caves!! So fun!! The kids had a ton of fun hiking in the caves and up on the red rocks! We rode up and long the mountains and could almost see our house!! We had a blast! Love fun adventurous weekends with my family and bff's! There's nothing better!!

Our Happy Halloween!

 

Here's how Team Bierstedt does Halloween!! Meet Elsa and Olaf! I can't take any credit for this adorable "make you heart melt" matching duo....all Penny's idea! She told me she really wanted to be the "real Elsa" so she needed her very own little Olaf!! Then proceeds to say "that's it mommy I know just who can be my little Olaf...Cash!" She seriously is genius! haha! I matched them last year as Woody and Jesse from Toy Story and I couldn't figure out what I could do for this year until Penny said it!! All her idea! Giving her full credit for the cutest matching duo!! Elsa and her little Olaf!! Amazing! They were so cute too! Penny would say to Cash "melt Olaf...get on the ground in a ball" then she would start swirling her hand as he would start to stand! She was magically making Olaf with her ice powers!! haha She was the "real Elsa!" Seriously can't get enough of their little personalities! They are magical!! So precious! Cash totally played along with her magical ice queen powers! haha! I love them so much!! These 2 sweeties are truly worth melting for!!

 

Now let me introduce you to our latest baby!! Our brand new 4 seater 1000 Turbo!! Wow! It's a beauty! Has so much power and rides so smooth! Can't feel any hard bumps at all!! Best purchase we have made yet!! We work hard to play hard! and there it is!!! Perfection!! 

 

These last 2 collages our from a fabulous weekend out at Dumont! We spent our Halloween weekend out there! Such a rush! It's always the highlight to go Trick or Treating around from camp to camp! These camps get way into it! Go all out! More than I have seen done at any house in town! haha Love it! That's what makes it so fun!!

Penny sure has loved her teacher Mrs.Fisher  and all her little friends at Somerset Sky Pointe! She had a blast at her Halloween party last week! and I had a blast volunteering!! So fun to see all the kids in their costumes! They got to play fun games and eat lots of yummy treats!! Can't wait for the next party!!

 Boom Dynamite!! Our Team is Boom Dynamite!! I put Penny in Cheer leading at her School to see how she would like! Well....she loved it and boy was she the Dynamite!! She cheered her little heart out at her very 1st Cheer Performance last night!! She has had so much fun making new friends, loved her cheer coach and most of all being in cheer class with her bff cousin Emma!! Too much Fun! Right down my ally in fact I wanted to get right up there and join in on all their cheers!! Love this!!! So proud of her remembering all her cheers and dances!! Love you Penny girl! She's such a doll! So fun and exciting to watch! Lots of animation in those cheers! You go girl! haha So proud!! Looks like we need to get you onto a competitive cheer team!!! You're ready! haha!
