Newport Beach -Memorial Weekend!

Schools out and we were ready to kick off summer at the beach! We couldn't wait to get that sand between our toes! lol We all have had an amazing school year but so ready for summer! Nothing better than starting our summer off at Newport Beach! First stop was Sgt. Pepp's Pizza! Delicious! This is one of our most favorite stops to eat in Cali! Our beach crew is growing!!  This trip we had Bestie Shayla and her amazing family come down with us! We have the best times with this awesome family! We couldn't wait to spend the long weekend together! 

So here is the rest of Day 1- Thursday! Got settled into our new beach house! It was absolutely amazing! So spacious! We are so booking this beach house again! Went for Ice Cream at our favorite America's Cup! Then sat by a fire with bff Mel and visited way into the late night! lol Mel and her family along with her friends were  staying a few houses down from us across the street in a beautiful home too! We love our beach family friends! 

Day 2: Friday! Chad was up super early and off to golf!! His happy place! He had an amazing morning and met up with us on the beach around 10am! Meanwhile Piper's just over here doing all her tricks in the sand! lol Love her! Cash played non stop with his besties the blitz ball! Super fun baseball game for the sand! We were off to an amazing start to our long Memorial weekend! 

Walked over to the Donut shop and got our breakfast and just enjoyed the beautiful beach! It was a bit chili! Cloud coverage for most the day and that ocean breeze! We were fully clothed for the majority of the day! lol

Oh! There's Penny! Hanging with the teens keeps her busy! lol She slept in too! She's always living her best life! I want nothing more then that for all my kids! Living their best life! :)

So many pics each day! lol I just can't help myself! lol Lot's of kids a playing all day! Love my family! Basically the whole spring break cruise crew and added the Hilsabeck's to it! So a huge group all weekend long! So much fun!

The best times! 

Cash had so much fun with blitz ball that he got hit in the face! Poor little dude got himself a huge fat lip! That didn't stop him from playing! lol Put some ice on his lip  for a bit and then he was off playing! Loving the cheer stunts too! 

Dinner we ate at Pick up Stix another favorite by all! and of course we ended with America's cup for ice cream! Wahoo! Once we got back to our house we went to cousin Megan's to get permanent jewelry done! So much fun! The girls and I all got matching heart bracelets! Piper and I also got anklets! So dainty! So pretty! Love that it stays on too! Thanks Megan! We love our new drip! lol

Day 3: Saturday! Chad was off early golfing again! He had a wonderful morning! The kids and I were back down at the beach! Having a wonderful morning as well! :)

Getting a pic of my 3 cuties and a family pic can be challenging when these  3 are off having so much fun running in all different directions! lol But I got it! It took some work but I got mu pics! lol

More playing! Digging! Talking! Laughing! and a ton of Picture taking! lol

It was a beautiful day! The sun came out to play all day! Yay! 

Take me out to the ballgame! We went to an Angels Baseball game! Wahoo! Love me some baseball, especially MLB! We were all decked out in our Angels gear!

Perfect weather for the game! It was a good game too! Angels lost but we still had blast cheering them on and eating a ton! lol Stadium food is the best food! lol

Ended the game with a huge beautiful firework show! and even a county concert! We didn't stay through the whole concert but it was super cool to see a concert playing right out on the field! Stopped in for some ice cream before getting home! Another amazing day in the books! 

Day 4: Sunday! A pic of our new favorite beach  house!! It was spacious and perfect for us! Love our pic in front of it! We did our annual stop at the swap meet!  We find the best things for dirt cheap! Cash even got himself  a new drip rope chain! lol Love it! Then J took us to the most amazing Mexican grocery store! It was like a Mexican farmers market! Taco stands! Churro stands! Bread stands! Fresh salsa and guacamole stands! Homemade chips stand! It was insane and our new favorite stop! We must go there every beach trip! So awesome! Delicious food! Mexican is my favorite food anyway so I was in heaven! :)

Back to the beach! Sun was out shining! It was a tad bit cold with the breeze but that didn't stop the kids from having fun in the sun! 

Then took the teens shopping at the mall! You can always get me to take the teens anywhere especially if its shopping! lol We went down to Huntington Beach to shop! It was fun! They found some fun things! Then back to the beach! 

Cash was the master digger! He dug a huge deep hole with his besties! It was taller than him! Of course he filled it back in at the end of the day! Don't' want anyone getting hurt! Piper had a blast hunting sand crabs! She loves all the creatures! lol

Sunset Beach pics!! Our last day on the beach! We enjoyed the beautiful sunset! It was super cold thought! That sea breeze can get cold! We were bundled up and loving our life! 

Love this family of mine! Love all my besties and bff's we call family! This is just a small portion we snagged for the pic that were hanging around watching the sunset with us! Love my people! We had an amazing memorial weekend together making lasting memories!

Day 5: Monday! All good things must come to an end! NOOOOOO! lol! We did not want our beach trip to end! We stopped one last time to our favorite donut shop! We also stopped one last time so Penny could get her Banzai Bowl! She loves the acai bowls so much and Banzai Bowl has the best ones! Then we were off to head back home! Of course I don't like the party to ever end so we stopped at chick fil a with the bff Facers in Vegas! lol Never want the fun to end! lol 

We had an amazing vaca! The perfect end of school year kick off to summer fun! Love my people! Love the memories we make! Love our traditions! See you soon New Port!!

 

Schools out! Summer is here!

Now that's a wrap! School is out! Cashy! You did it! Finished 4th grade! Wahoo! He's had an incredible year! Accomplished so much and maintained A-B Honor roll! So proud of him! He's had to work hard this year and it has paid off! Love this pic collage! His last class pic! Class awards! He was awarded Future President! Awesome son! Piper!!! You did it! Done with 1st g rade! Where is the time going! This year flew by! Piper has had a great year! She loved Mrs. Hays! She is reading amazing and mam is so proud of her! She was awarded a Pizza Parry for turning in her homework every wk for the entire year! Wahoo! The party was on her last full day of school! She was so excited! Then I popped in on the last day of school to snag a couple more pics! Love it! It's been an amazing 1st grade year! She's off to 2nd grade!

Oh man! What an amazing school year I have had! I had such a fun group of kids I followed around! I loved being their side kick and new best friend! lol We had a great year together! So much growth for my students and I'm so proud of each them! I'll miss this group of 5th graders for sure! So many little besties! Also love the team I work with! We have the best time together! Couldn't do work with out them each day! :) A few more dress up days to finish out the school year! Taco Tuesday for Kim's birthday is in this pic collage! I love a good dress up day! The Great American 5th grade assembly! You know I'm coming as Miss America! lol Threw a baby shower along side my team for Bridget! I have enjoyed working working with her the last 2 years! We are the dynamic 5th grade resource duo! She is leaving to have her baby! So hurry back to me! We are a great team! lol One last lunch to Taco Bell with my girls! We have had fun sneaking away for lunch to Taco Bell each wk! lol

The Last Dayz of 8th Grade!

Can't believe this day has come! I feel like she just started Middle School and here we are off to High School! The the last dayz of 8th Grade! The last dayz of middle school! The last dayz of Somerset Sky Pointe! Wow! My best friend! My #1 is getting big! Eagle Mania! Super Fun the school put a water field day for the Eagle Mania Award Winners! Penny was one of them! Way to go! Her and her friends had a blast! 

Penny has been in WEB all year as the Vice President! Her and the rest of WEB leaders put on their last event of the year! The glow party for all 8th graders! For this event they invited all the 8th graders from Skye Canyon and Lone Mountain to come play! She had a blast! She has loved being in WEB! She loves being apart of the school events! She sets up and takes down! She loved meeting new people from the other schools and loved seeing her friends that go to the other schools too! It was a  great success! Their last 8th grade hoo-rah! Yay! 

Our last lunch together! This year my lunch was during the same time as Penny's! So everyday for my lunch I would walk over and have lunch with Penny and her friends! It was the best! I loved every moment of it and sadly it has come to an end! I literally love these friends of hers! They are such awesome great kids! On our last lunch together I surprised them with Pizza and Cupcakes! They were so surprised and so excited! Yay! Also year book signing! I also was very popular with the yearbook signing! lol Everyone wanted  Mrs. Emylee to sign their yearbook! Yesssss! I loved it! It's been the best having lunch with these teens! I will miss them so much! Most everyone is leaving the school and moving on to different high schools! Great lunch memories were made for 8th grade! Love it!

Here it is! The last day of 8th grade! You did it Penny! Way to go! Wahoo! She's had an incredible year! In fact it's been her best middle school year! She had awesome teachers and ended with straight A's! You crushed it! We had to get one last  pic of Mrs. Skelton! Insert tears! She is her favorite teacher ever! Since Penny is leaving the school she won't get to see her everyday or aide for her ever again! So sad! Penny absolutely loves Mrs. Skelton! She has loved being her aide after school for the last 2yrs! Mrs. Skelton has made such an impact in Penny's life! We definitely will make sure to keep Mrs. Skelton apart of Penny's life forever and ever! She will be coming to Penny's high school graduation! Wedding! lol Everything major in life! Mrs. Skelton is family! We Love her! My cute little Gracie wanted a pic with Penny! My 2 little favorites! Love it! and one last pic of the teens as big 8th graders! What an amazing year Penny has had! 

 

End of Year Awards!!!

You did it Cashy! You have completed 4th grade with flying colors!!! Cash received 4 Awards and a metal! Wahoo! So proud of this #1 boy of mine! He has worked hard all year and has had one of his best years yet! He truly succeeded!! He crushed it! Your hard work has paid off!

He couldn't wait to get Mrs. Skelton for his 4th grade teacher and just like that 4th grade year is over! So crazy how fast this year went by! He had an amazing year with Mrs. Skelton! She truly is an incredible teacher and I'm so lucky that both Penny and Cash have had her as their 4th grade teacher! She is tough and she pushes the kids to excel! Cash continued to maintained his A-B grades and had a very successful year! Wahoo! Can't believe he is off to 5th grade! The top of the school now! Omg!!!

My baby!!! You did it! 1st grade is in the books! Piper has grown so much this year! Went from reading level low to way above and beyond reading level for 1st grade! Wahoo! She is  non stop reading everything she sees! She is such a good little writer too! Love the sweet little notes she constantly surprising me with! We have loved her teacher Mrs. Hays! She did an amazing job with building Piper's foundation and so much growth! We also loved Piper's burst teacher Mrs. Wells! She helped Piper decode words and sounds and man did it work!!! I'm extremely proud of Piper's hard work! Piper received 2 awards at her awards assembly! Wahoo! Way to go! 

Love this little face! Can't believe she is off to 2nd grade! It seems as though Cash was just in 2nd grade and now my baby is! Wow! We can't wait to see what next year has in store for you!!!

 

Penny's 8th Grade Promotion!

Good bye Middle School! and Hello High School! Congrats Penny!!! Our Penny is off to "big kid school!" lol Can't believe how fast her middles school years have flown by! Why does time have to go so fast! Mama is not ready for this one to grow up but man is Penny ready! She will do  amazing things I'm sure of it! We are so proud of our Penny girl! We love who she is and who she is  becoming! Thank you to Somerset Sky Pointe! It's been an incredible school for her since kindergarten! Sad to see her close this chapter and move on  else where for High School but she ready to spread her wings and fly! Penny is definitely leaving a mark here at Sky Pointe for sure! :) Thank you to all the teachers who have made an outstanding and incredible impact on Penny! You are the ones that have built that foundation for her! Congrats Penny! You did it!! 

Penny made the program twice!! She was asked by the Assistant Principle of Middle School Mrs. Pitt to give the opening welcome speech along side her good friend Brenner! Penny is the Vice President of her WEB class and Brenner is the President so it was fitting for them to welcome everyone out to their 8th grade Promotion Ceremony! She did amazing! Her confidence to be in front of the  crowd makes my so happy and proud! She never gets nervous! Just gets up and shines! Can't wait to see what High School brings for her! She recently got accepted to be a member of the student council! Wahoo! She is beyond excited to represent her fellow freshman! Thanks to WEB and Mrs. Peets for all the training these last 2 years in leadership,  sign making, activity planning and decorating! lol She is definitely going to excel in Student Council! 

Penny getting her Awards! She received her 8th grade graduation Award and was surprised to find out she was selected by her Math teacher Mr.  Hollod to receive the Math Excellence Award! She was the only one selected from the entire 8th grade for this Math Award!  Wahoo! We had no idea she was so awesome at math! lol She's an amazing hard working student! She's had an incredible year! Straight A's in all classes!  She has loved all her teachers this year too! When announcing her for the Math Excellence Award they mentioned she was the top student in Math for all of 8th grade! Wow! Yay! We are beyond proud of her! She was just as surprised as we were when they announced her name! Thank you Mr. Hollod for seeing the goodness of our Penny! You made her night! 

Then they announced all the students that had been going to Somerset Sky Pointe since Kindergarten! Penny was one of them! Talk about eyes filling up with tears! They lined them up for a big group pic! Wow! Super cool! We have had an amazing school experience here at Somerset! It's been the perfect fit for Penny all these years! Sad to see her move on but she's definitely ready to spread her wings and fly! It's bitter sweet for sure! 

After her graduation ceremony we took lots of pics! They are all breaking up and moving on to  different high schools! A few staying at Somerset! A few going to Shadow Ridge! A few going over to Arbor View! A couple going to Centennial! and 1 going to Palo Verde! Wow! She has made lasting friendship and I hope they all stay in touch as they move onto High School! So crazy!

Love these teens! I'm definitely going to  miss this group  around the school when I'm working! It's been so fun for me to get to  know each them so much by working at the school and having lunch with most of them everyday! Wow! Next year is changing for me with Penny gone! Tears are dropping out my eyes right now as I type! lol

After the ceremony daddy and I surprised her with her 8th grade graduation gift! Tickets to Zach Bryan! Say what! She was beyond excited for this! She has been dying to see him in concert and now she gets to go! Yay!! After Party Fun! I took her to hang with some of her friends at In and Out then when she discovered her favorite boy wasn't there and he was over at Canes I took her there after In and Out to hang with him and those friends! lol The things I do for this one! lol Anything to keep this one smiling! She is the best and loves to have fun! She definitely gets that from her mama! We never want the fun to end! lol My goal in life is to make sure Penny is living her best life! So proud of her 8th grade year! You did it!! Still can't believe she's off to High School! Hold on tight these high school years are going to fly by!!! Let's go Arbor Aggies! 

 

River Rafting Field Trip!

Cash had been waiting for this field trip all year long! River Rafting!!! and the best part was Honz was selected to go  to be a chaperone! Wahoo! They had a blast!! Such an awesome adventure together! It was beautiful weather too! 

Cash has absolutely loved his 4th grade year! He has had the best teacher Mrs. Skelton too! It was so much fun to end 4th grade on a high! The last 4th grade who-rah! River rafting field trip was the best! 

 

Sky Zone Field Trip for Piper!

The year is winding down to the end and Piper had her last 1st grade field trip to Sky Zone! Wahoo! She had a blast! Ran and jumped and did all her tricks! lol She even got hit in the face by a ball playing so  hard! lol She's a tough one though! Didn't slow her down one bit! She had the best day! Field Trip fun success! Can't believe she's off to 2nd grade! What a year! Time can be such a thief! lol 

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's day to all!! Sadly I continued to be sick in bed coming into Mothers Day! Dang it! I was able to get to my Dr and get on meds on Friday so I'm hoping to be on the mend! Each day I'll get a little better! Rt? Rt?! lol That's what I keep telling myself! With being under the weather it's been a wonderful Mother's Day because these 3 that made me a mom know how to love me and take care of me! But a huge shout out goes to Mr. Mom Honz! He has to play both roles  mom and dad, take care of me, and still hold the fort down at work and has done it all with a smile! He loves us unconditionally! He's the best thing that has ever happened to me! So he also gets the Mother's day shout out too! lol I didn't make it into 1 pic today but I was able to capture the ones that made me a MOM!! My 3 babies! They are my world! I live, breath, and would die for these humans! Mommin can be rough! Some days I don't even know if I'm doing it right but they keep me going! lol They bring me so much joy, laughter and love! My world is complete with these 3 little angels! Penny! Cash! Piper! You make me the proudest and happiest mom ever! Thank you!

                               

These 3 little cuties absolutely spoiled me all day! Flowers! Homemade cards, bags, notes! Breakfast in bed with my meds on their mother's day plates they made me a few years ago! lol They are truly the greatest! They cleaned the house! Even helped me redecorate for summer! It's been a wonderful lovely Mother's Day! I love being their mama! 

                              

Before getting so sick Piper had her Mother's Day program at school! It was so much fun! She sang the cutest songs and really put on a show for me! Then back in her classroom Mrs. Hays had more Mother's Day fun planned for us moms! More singing! Cute little writings about each of their moms! Then they served us treats and lemonade! Love my baby! She's getting to big though! We even matched in our purple too! That was fun! My greatest joy in life....being their Mama! Happy Mother's Day to all!

Penny's Weekend of Fun!

Well the weekend came and I  was still sick in bed! So bummed because I had Justin Timberlake concert to go to but sadly due to my illness stuck in bed Penny got to go in place for me! She loved it! She said she only new 1 song! lol The Trolls song! lol But she had a blast dancing and he was incredible! Well I guess I'm old! I know all of his music! lol I have wanted to see him in concert my whole life and I guess I get to keep waiting to go! lol Next time he comes back! lol I'm so happy Penny went in my place! Jackie and Kaylee had a blast with her! Yay for a fun night for these 3! Then Saturday Penny showed her support to all her friends that performed in the school dance showcase! Penny loved watching her friends! They danced amazingly! I was bummed I was still too sick to go! I love showing all the support to all  Penny's friends too!  After the performance she met up with more friends and hung out the rest of the night! Penny had an awesomely fun weekend! I always want my kids to live their best life! Penny was living it this weekend for sure!

Filed Day Fun!

Oh what a week! It started out great! It was teacher appreciation week! I love working at the school! I love all my sweet students! It was so much fun feeling all the love from them!  We also loved spoiling Piper and Cash's teachers too! Then mid week I became terribly sick and had to call out sick from work on Thursday and Friday! Which meant I missed the funnest day of the year! Field Day! Thankfully everyone knows my love for pics and sent me pics of my kids at field day! yay! Thank you! They had a blast!!! 

Penny's Epic Jr. Grad Bash!

Universal Studios here we come!! Penny's 8th grade Jr. Grad Bash! 24hrs of Epic fun! and I got to go as as a staff chaperone! Yayyyyyyy! We have been counting down the days to get on this field trip! Such an Epic field trip! A day that Penny and her friends and myself will never forget! Of course I took a ton of pics and these cute teens are so good about it! Always ready for the camera! My chaperoning group consisted of 9 kids! All but 2 are in Penny's little friend group! So much fun! These kids were so good for me all  day!!! Never any trouble! I surprised each of the kids in my group with a gallon size zip lock bag custom to their personal favorite snack, treat and drink! I loved putting these together for each of them! It made my morning giving it to them to see their faces light up! They loved their long bus ride snack packs! It was a hit! The rest of the pics are loading onto the bus! Stopping at Eddie's World and getting our tickets into the park and wrist bands! Wahoo! 

We made it!! Let the picture taking, riding rides and eating food begin! lol Our first stop as Harry Potter Land! 

Watched the Water World show! That was so cool! Passed through Simpson's Land to  get to Studio Tours! We were walking on every ride! It was awesome!

Here's the pics from the Studio Tours! This was longer then we thought but so much fun! It was really cool to hear the history of how the movies were made going way back to current time! Love these teens so much! Such a fun friend group! We all stayed together all day which was so  fun for me! 

More riding and eating! We ventured down to the lower level of the park! The Mummy ride was the freakn best! Jurassic water ride! Transformers! and Mario World! 

Mario world was so incredible! Took me straight back to my child hood! Holy Moly! They didn't miss one detail when planning this world! I took a ton of pics here cause it was so amazing!

The ride was interactive! You got into a cart like the Mario Cart game! Then as your steering you shoot turtle shells for points! Don't' forget the star! lol They even had the star music when you would hit  the star! lol Seriously child hood memories flash back! lol So much fun!

Minion ride! Secret Life of Pets! Simpson's! We did it all! Penny even picked out the Grad Bash hoodie as her souvenir! Neon green with a 90's graphic! So awesome! We could definitely spot her! It was super cute on her!

Love this collage too! What a memory to be with Penny for her 8th grade field trip! Her last field trip in middle school! Omg!!! We had the best day together! I love that she loves to be with me even with all her friends around! Lasting memories were definitely made!

Ended our day with dinner then it was time to load the buses! The teens let me take pics all the way to the end of the day! lol Such good sports! lol They made memories to last a life time! Penny will never forget her epic 8th grade field trip to Universal Studios! 24hr non stop fun with her favorite boy too! :) It was a perfect day! I'm lucky to have been able to create this memory with her and her friends! We have all bonded! I'm having teen withdrawals as I type! lol High school is right around the corner now! OMG! Freshman year/ 9th grade here she comes!!!

Here's the rest of April! Such a fun Birthday month! lol It's been a busy month for sure! Starting with Cashy! We put Cash in private Golf lessons and he is loving it! He is perfecting his game! lol He lost a tooth! He is my late bloomer on the teeth like Penny was! lol Piper for sure will catch up to him! lol Love my sweet wild Cashy Boy!

Penny! She had a fun month too! Lol Church dances! Volleyball games with besties! Doing our nails! She's getting good!! :) She won a contest at school and was awarded $50! She was hyped about that!! Stopped by her new Highschool! Say what!!Can't believe she's going to be a  freshman!!!

Piper! She was published in a 1st grade book for a picture and a  writing piece! Way to go! So proud of her!!! Matching shoes at school with her friends! She got invited to a Swiftie party for the new album drop from her bff Elyse! She had a blast!!!!

End of Year Choir Performance!

Can't believe how fast 8th graded has gone by for Penny! She just performed in her last choir performance of 8th grade and last choir performance at Somerset Sky Pointe! My #1 is growing too fast! Time is such a thief! Love these friends of hers too! Sad it was their last performance together! They are all splitting up for high school going on to different schools!! It's bitter sweet! The performance was amazing! Love watching Penny perform! She even did 2 dancing and singing numbers along with 2 reg singing performances! Great song choices too! 

Cashy boy performed in 5 different songs! Wahoo! He joined the elementary choir club in the beginning of the year and has gotten to perform in the big performances each time! He loves it on stage too! Love my little performers! He made sure to wear his boots and new buckle! He said these were his "nice performing clothes!" lol Love my stylish boy! lol They did great! Such fun songs too!

Such a fun night! Always so proud of my kids! They make mama proud! To end the amazing night we celebrated Penny's last middles school performance at Menchies! So much fun! Such a great night! Can't wait to see what High School brings! Changes ahead! Hold on tight!
