Our 2 Peas In A Pod!

My 2 little peas in a pod! My baby boy has just turned 21mons!! He's all boy and I'm not sure how ready I am for that!! He has discovered the potty and that's one of his new words along with "pee", "poop", "bum", "diaper", "mine" "apple". Along with learning new words this last month he also has figured out how to take his diaper off and as soon as you put a new one on he takes it right off! The worst is when I put him down for his nap and I hear him in his room 20mins later when I know he's supposed to be sleeping and come to find out he has taken off his diaper and peed all over his room and bed just loving it!! Such a boy! Ugh! More messes for mommy to clean up!! haha! So I remember what my sister had to do with my nephew...the "duck tape magic" method!! haha That's right....we duck tape his diapers on so he can't get them off! haha He's finally getting some teeth!! He's only had 4 teeth total but this last month he is getting his upper and lower laterals and upper 1st molars. My kids are so on the late show with their teeth! haha! He's still my little climber busy boy!!
Onto my big girl Penny!! She's 4 1/2 going on 14!! She's so smart!! She just gets it!! I teach and tell her something 1 time and she just gets it!! That makes things really easy for me!! Cash will be my hard one! haha! She really strives to never disappoint us! She's such a good girl!! Makes us so proud! At school she has started to read books! That's right my little 4 yr old is reading! I can't believe it! She has already passed off 3 books and is half way through her 4th book! She is super determined to do her best and really just loves school and loves to learn! I hope this sticks with her forever!! :) She loves being rewarded (who doesn't really! haha) and getting to go shop at target or walmart for a new surprise!! She way into and just loves her American Girl doll (which was mine when I was a little-Molly) and all the accessories of course, barbies, anything frozen, shopkins, and baby dolls right now! Just loves dressing them up, feeding them, changing their diaper, carries along a diaper bag with all her babies needs and even wants her baby in pics with her! She even tells me that her baby doll is my third baby so it's her little sister!! haha  She really wants a baby sister and I'm not so sure about that! haha We're feeling pretty dang good with just our 2 babies for now! :) She loves getting on her Ipad and Iphone and watching YouTube videos! It's crazy how smart these youngsters are with technology!!
We sure are enjoying each stage as our 2 littles grow!! They both makes us so proud!!! We just love our little peas in a pod!!

The Best Mother's Day!!

Oh my I just LOVE being momma to these 2 sweetest faces!! It's my biggest challenge everyday but my greatest joy!! It's a true blessing to be a mother! To always be in "mom mode" is hard to do some days!! There's pretty much no days off when you're a momma but I honestly wouldn't give it up or change anything about it!! My babies make me so proud to be their mommy!!! At Penny's school they had a mother's day program for all the mom's!! It was the most precious special little program ever! They learned and sang us the sweetest song!! Penny had been working on her "surprise' for me for well over a month in Mrs. McIntyre's class! The reason for the quotes around "surprise" is because of course I wasn't supposed to know about the surprise but she kept dropping hints about her special "surprise" she was making for me!! It was so funny!! She was so excited she couldn't help herself and kept saying "Mommy I can't tell you but... and then that's when she would give me the hint! hahaha! Oh I just love her!!! The cutest!! Back to the program....haha.... after they sang their cute little song about moms then Mrs. McIntyre read the cutest questionnaire that she asked each of the kids about their mom privately! When I sat there listening to what my Penny had said about me it brought tears to my eyes!! She knows her momma pretty dang well!! It made me proud to be her mommy!! I'm honored that both my sweet little spirits were sent to me and they call me "Mom!"

Disneyland Fun!!!!

Here's the whole crew!! 28 of us were able to come out and play in Disneyland!! This is our 4th year in a row going together!! Chad's dad takes care of all the accommodations! Tickets, Rooms, and fun for the whole weekend!! We are so thankful for this fun memory not only for all of us to be together but to be able to go to Disneyland and California Adventure for the whole weekend!! Thanks Grandpa Jeff! and Thanks to my Honz for the Amazing Awesome Shirts!! We all love wearing the same color because it makes it so easy to spot each other in a crowd of people and we don't loose anyone this way either!! haha! So the 1st day out we were at Disneyland and we were Team Neon Turquoise!
Just love my little family!!! Penny was so excited to be at Disneyland and see the Princess Castle!!
You don't get a lot done with a group of 28 but we sure had a blast just taking our time walking around all of Disneyland!!
Of course I had a blast on all the rides!!! haha! Oh! and so did Penny and Cash!! I must say after Cash went on Pirates of the Caribbean he wasn't quite the same! haha! He would get very nervous as we would get on the ride with him but once we got on and the ride started he did not want to get off!! He would tell us to "go" and point for us to leave as he held himself on the ride not moving!! haha!
These pics are from the parade!! We had a blast!! Penny loved all the floats and characters!! and my Cashy loved all the music!! He was just a fist pumping to the beats! So awesome!! 1st day down and so Amazing!!
2nd day we were up bright and early wearing our brightest Neon Yellow all matching and headed to California Adventure! These pics are from our bus ride!! All 28 of us filled up our very own shuttle bus from the hotel to the park! We loved having our very own bus with just our family!! So fun!! Team Neon Yellow here we come!!! :)
1st stop was the new Frozen section to see Elsa, Anna and Olaf!! Wow that was the highlight for Penny for the whole weekend!! She loved seeing them and they were so cute with her!! Anna loved that Penny was wearing cowgirl boots that were matching hers!! The cutest!
Penny was so into seeing all the characters dressed up!! She loved it and would get so excited to have them sign her little book and get a picture with them!! Now Cash on the other hand...not so much! He was not having it for one second! He would just cry and yell "go!" and put his hand up trying to push the character away! Poor thing! Penny was the exact way at this age! For some crazy reason my babies just don't like the real life characters coming at them! hahaha!
We loved the rides over at California Adventure!! I think Penny and I had more fun at this park riding on the swings, the ferris wheel, goofy's roller coaster, jelly fish ride, little mermaid, bugs land, cars land and then riding them all a 2nd time and 3rd time!! It wasn't too crazy packed with people! That's always a plus!! Day 2 down and was such a blast! Such a wonderful tradition that Chad's dad does for all us!! Being with family making memories is what we love to do!! Can't wait until next year!!

Best Birthday Surprise Ever!!

Happy 35th Birthday to me!! My Birthday landed on a Saturday this year and my honz surprised me with a weekend get away with just the 2 of us (plus his assistant Brittany and husband Kyle)....no kids to San Francisco!!! We both had never been so we were super excited for this fun quick get away weekend adventure! Our friends that came our seriously travel a whole ton! They both as well had not been to San Fran but that doesn't stop them from finding their way around a new town!! We flew out Friday evening and back home Sunday evening! Leaving us with 2 days in San Fran!! and boy did we see it!! We went every where! Wore ourselves out!! :)
Top pics were from Friday night! We landed in San Francisco and it was an icebox!! haha! Super cold, foggy, and rainy!! We drove over to a food truck event for our first stop of the night! The rest of the night we just drove around downtown San Fran checking the town out!
Then we were up bright and early the next day!!! My 35th Birthday!! I still can't believe I'm 35th!! Yikes!! We headed straight into downtown San Fran!! We had to see the "Full House" house, Lombard Street (the crazy winding road), Union Square for shopping, Ate at Super Duper (highly recommended by locals and it was so good), drove on the Golden Gate Bridge (amazing), Pier 39, saw Fisherman's Wharf, ate at Tony's Pizza for dinner and ended my most amazing wonderful best Birthday ever watching the most hilarious Broadway show called "Beach Blanket Babylon!" Such a fun way to end my awesome day in San Fran!
Sunday pics above! This was our last day in San Fran!! So we were up early again like the day before and off like the races! Headed down to Pier 39 to take boat tour under the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz! Not as cold on Sunday....perfect weather to get on a boat and cruise! Chad wanted to drive on all the bridges so we were off to the Oakland bridge! When we got over to Oakland we were able to stop in and see how unique and beautiful the Oakland Temple was! The visiting center had a huge room with all glass windows to over look the ocean and San Francisco! So amazing!! Then it was time to head back to the airport to head home!! We missed our babies so much!!
I'm so grateful for the best husband in the world for surprising me to San Francisco! It's so hard for us to get out of town especially with out the kids but it was a much wanted trip for quite sometime!! I love you honz thanks for making turning 35 not so bad!!!

Fair Fun!!

Oh the Logandale Fair!! We love going out and camping with our trailer for the whole weekend every year! It's the best times! Such beautiful weather with beautiful people! haha! We love getting all dressed up in our best Western wear all weekend long!! Penny and Cash both loved the Rodeo so much this year!! Penny was loving all the Rodeo Queens! She would wave and wave at them as they would go by on their horse!! Cash loved all the Animals and loved all the Music! He was fist pumping and dancing to the beats making animal sounds!! Just love these too sugars of mine! :)
Fun action shots from all the carnival rides while we were out there both days! This is my most favorite part of the fair!! I love the rides! I get an all day pass just like my kids! haha! and we ride pretty much all day with a few food and treat stops in between, naps and the rodeo then it's time to shut the fair down by riding the rides until they close!! That's right...both days after the rodeo Penny, Chance and I would head out for the rides and ride the rides until they stopped letting people on! It was so awesome!! We had a blast!
My 5yr old nephew Mav did the mutton bustin again this year!! He rocked it! He took 2nd place! He's one tough little boy to go out there and ride those crazy, stinky, dirty sheep! haha! We were so proud of him!! We sure hope he rides the sheep next year!! This has been such a fun tradition that we have done starting with Chance when he was 5yr! He is now 9yr!
It's hard to beat a fair weekend specially with the weather being so good, the kids being good, and the food that's so good....can't wait until next year!!

So here we are.....at private Swim lessons! and boy is she doing good! So brave out there!! Such a fast learner and so determined!! The water is a little cold but she doesn't seem to mind! She swims her little heart out then gets out of the water with Blue lips and just a shaking from head to toe!!! She has 2 more classes left! So a total of 6 private swim classes for 45mins 2 times a week for $100 at the community leisure center (palo pool)! So proud of my Big girl!! I just love how determined she is!! Full of Life Cashy Boy!!!

This guy..........need I say anymore!! He's getting more busy, more stubborn and more naughty each day!!! Our Cashy boy just turned 20mons!! Let's just say this last month he discovered "Time Out"....and quite regularly!! Half the time I don't even have to say "go sit on your bench! (that's his time out spot)" I just give him a look and he goes walking with his head hanging low!! It's hard not to smile and laugh but I can't I have to stay stern and stay on him because boy does he know how to work the system at such a young age! haha! Seriously Penny would have never thought of doing the things he does at his age! hahaha! Not really sure if he gets what "NO" means because he does the complete opposite! By this age Penny was scared of us and if you told her "no" she would never go back to it!! Seriously the best listener!!! This little boy....I mean all boy is a little Chad!! and those that know his daddy know I'm in for some trouble!! haha! He sure does keep us on our toes!! Keeps life exciting if you look at it that way! haha! and we wouldn't change him for the world!! Here's a little more about him this month.....He's talking way more and putting words together that making some sense! He says "here you go", "all done", "helpa" (for help),  "juice peeeesssse", "ding-dong", and "Emma" (my little niece)! He Loves to Fist Pump when he hears the beats! He loves to "pound it" with his fist! In fact he will hold his arm out with his little fist to pound it forever until you pound it! haha! He's just the best! He's totally obsessed with our phones, ipads, and old iphones! He loves to watch videos and gets crazed if you don't give him the phone ect! He thinks he's as big as Penny! We sure do love our full of personality, sassy (as penny would say), crazy, silly, all BOY Cash!!!

Happy Easter Sunday!!

On Easter Sunday morning Grandma DeeDee put on a huge breakfast feast!! and then it was onto more Easter egg hunting!! Auntie K surprised all the kids with their very own Easter basket and matching Easter eggs to find out in the grass full of little surprises and candy! My cuties had the best matching Camo Baskets ever!! Penny's was the Pink Camo and Cash's was the Green Camo! I love me some camo!!! haha! Penny had a blast finding all her eggs! She was fast this year too!! Cash on the other hand was still trying to figure it all out!! Plus find the green camo eggs that camouflaged themselves right into the grass, trees, dirt, pretty much everything! haha! So he found it to be much easier if he just opened each egg as WE found it and eat the candy out of it before going onto the next one! haha! He's the best!! Once again my kids were spoiled by their Auntie K and Grandma DeeDee! We all had such a great time! We sure did miss our other lil cousins that were out of town though!
After Grandma DeeDee's house we headed over to Grandpa Jeff's house for an amazing dinner, another Easter egg hunt and swimming!! Let's just say we were pretty Easter egg hunted out after 2 days of hunting eggs!! haha! Had such an enjoyable time sitting poolside talking while both my little fishies swam and swam and swam!! 2nd day in a row that Penny swam without her water wings on!! yaya!! and of course lil Cashy is getting more brave....jumping into the pool, kicking his legs, dunking his face all without an adult in the water with him! Just him and his floaty on! haha! He's crazy!! He thinks he's just as big as the other kids!! Oh my!!and boy was he so sad when it was time to get out to go home!! Such a wonderful day! Thanks for the great times!

Some Bunny Loves These Two!!

Hop! Hop! Bunny! Bunny! Hop! Hop! Rise and Shine on Easter Sunday morning Penny and Cash were excited to find tons of eggs all over the house leading them to their Easter baskets full of Surprises!!!! :) It's the best being a parent and making them so happy it puts the BIGGEST Smiles on their sweetest little faces!! I love it so much it makes me smile so BIG!! haha!
The Easter Bunny sure spoiled these two!! We hope everyone had a wonderful Happy Easter!

Easter Fun at Grandpa John & Grandma Janeen's House!

You all know what time it is!!! It's the Money Easter Egg Hunt at my dad's house!! It's been an amazing tradition fro many years that my dad and Janeen take $400 cash and break it down into $20's, $10's, $5's and $1's and put it into eggs! Janeen hides over 200 eggs out in my dad's back yard and we all get to go on the hunt!!! It's a mad dash out the back door! Team Bierstedt came in 2nd place with a grand total of $87 dollars!!! Whoot! Whoot!!! Oh! Yeah! The Heatons took 1st place with over $100 dollars! :) It seriously is the funnest!! Such a great tradition! Thanks dad and Janeen for making it all happen!!
Even Baby Enya Grae got to come down and meet everyone and enjoy her very first Easter!! She was only 4 days old!! My sister Eryka had her 1st baby girl on Wed. April 1st! I still can't believe they came down to spend the day with us!! Such a trooper!! My sister is one tough girl!! Baby Enya Grae was born all natural weighing 8.3lbs and 22in long!! Eryka's biggest baby and she even came 3wks early too!! and yes you really read ALL Natural! My sister is no joke and Crazy! haha! I could never be that tough! No way!! She's so amazing and I'm so proud of her!! We are all so in love with Baby Enya! She is so gorgeous with just tons of thick black hair! The sweetest round face!! Just perfection! She's a beauty for sure! She looks so much like Eryka did when she was a baby!! Penny is absolutely obsessed with Baby Enya and she even calls her...."lil sissy!!"Awe! I just love it!!
After the Money Hunt it was time to swim!! My dad had heated up his pool!! A giant hot tub!! We spent the rest of the day swimming!! Got my Penny pie out of her water wings for the first time!! yay!! and she was swimming great!! As for my baby Cash we can't keep him out of the water!! He loves it!! He has no fear and that scares me.......
Such a lovely Happy Easter at my dad and Janeen's house!! Thank you for spoiling us and your grand kids! We love you Grandpa and Grandma!!

There was a surprise visit by the none other than the... Easter Bunny!!! Penny was a little nervous but once she saw all her friends sitting up on his lap she new it was safe to go! haha! But as for Cash....he was not having it for one second! haha! After sitting  on the Easter Bunny's lap it was tine for their Easter egg hut! Penny had a blast! Our Little Lucky Charms!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day to all!! Louie the Leprechaun found our home and he was a little naughty!! He turned all the toilet water Green, turned the milk Green, made a mess in the front toy room, pulled out a bunch of toys in the love sac room, put post-it notes 1 by1 on each cabinet in the kitchen,  made a Lucky Charm trail all throughout the kitchen around the island and ended in the love sac room where he left tons of Gold coins and both Penny and Cash got a bag with a few toy surprises!!!! He also left Gold Coins in each of our shoes all lined up at the garage door! So I guess you could say Louie the Leprechaun was Naughty and Nice!! Penny and Cash were so excited to find all this!! In fact...Penny is still talking about Louie the Leprechaun and what he did!! haha!
Just Love these little Lucky Charms in the pics above! They just melt my Heart!!

He's Alive!

He's Alive! He's standing! He's walking! All amazing things!! Thank goodness!
It's been 2wks since Chad's back Surgery and he's feeling good!! He's definitely sore by the end of the day but the pain down his right leg from the sciatic nerve is gone!! He's so happy he did the surgery!! There's nothing like taking life for granted! The small things! Like putting your socks and shoes on by yourself! Reaching for something without your back getting a kink then constant pain! I have felt so bad for my honz these last several months and have just wanted to take his pain away! He's a man that doesn't sit down or slow down! and it was really hard to see him have to face this trial!! He's been recovery great though! You should have seen him in the hospital up walking the halls the next morning after surgery! I'm telling you...nothing is going to keep him down! Not even back surgery! haha! He's the toughest man I've ever known! I'm so proud of the man he is! He's my rock! My everything! I don't know what I'd do without him and either would our 2 precious kids!! They missed him so much while he was in the hospital for those 3 days it was so sad!! But when daddy came home....on man you couldn't keep them away from him!! I'm pretty sure both would pick to be with dad over mom! haha! Mean mom....Rad dad!! haha! We love you honz so much! So proud of you but you do need to take it easy from time to time! Give yourself a break! You did just have back surgery...only 2wks ago! haha! :)

Quick Trip To Utah!

Last Saturday we took a quick day trip to Utah to see Auntie Eryka and her family!! Penny asks to play with Zane all the time! :)  We got to see her new place! So much bigger and so nice! The kids had a blast riding up and down the street! and Penny of course got to show Zane that she didn't have training wheels on! :) I'm telling you she has been so excited about her new accomplishment! Such a fun beautiful day! We will be back up there real soon when my new Baby Girl arrives!! Oh! I just can't wait!!! Only just a few more weeks and my sis will be having her first Girl!! Girls are so FUN!! Can not even wait!!! :)

Look Who's Riding Her Bike Like A Boss!!!

Looks who's riding her Bike without those Training Wheels!!! This girl!!! Penny has been begging me and daddy to take them off and I would tell her "that's not  mommy's job! It's scares mommy to do that!! So daddy needs to do this one!!"  Well all that know...know that Chad has had a bad back for quite sometime and just recently had back surgery 2wks ago! So daddy was out of the picture to teach her until his back was better! haha! So the Sunday that Chad got home from the hospital from surgery he invited his brother Jeff and family to come over to visit! Uncle Jeff pulled out the bikes for his kids and as soon as Penny saw is was bike riding time she ask Uncle Jeff if he would take the training wheels off her bike!! Now Uncle Jeff is a pro at teaching kids how to ride a bike without training wheels! He must have the magic touch! Not only has he taught both his kids he has taught his nephew Benjamin and now Penny!! So he took those training wheels right off her bike and she jumped up on it and Uncle Jeff held her seat as she took off and off she went! She never looked back!! She could start and stop all on her own! Uncle Jeff kept saying "oh man she was ready!" Shoot I guess she was!! haha! She is so proud and feels so BIG!! She has told everyone and has showed everyone that has come over to our house!! We sure love you Penny and your determination!! She's so strong willed and strives to succeed! I hope she continues to carry these characteristics through out her life!!! We couldn't be more Proud! We love you Penny girl!!
Ps. As she was riding pass me she said "mommy I'm going to Swim without my wings next! I'm ready!" haha! You go girl!! She's just getting too BIG!!!
